is this instore

Tesco have got Roses for £3.50.....

Must have a look.

Celebrations are my favourite...mmm...chocolate! must resist

Just come from Sainsburys, Roses were £5.

Why is it there were so few roses in shops compared to quality street? Did shops not order enough or is it cause they're nicer that they sell out much quicker?

weird - might be worth taking to the till - they are definately £4 on the website - sainsburys.co.uk/gro…569

If the best before date is June I'd have to eat them now to be on the safe side!!

£4 isn't a great deal IMHO. What were they last year, £2.50 a tin after New Year?

Nooooooooooooo....... not MORE chocolate, must resist!!!:p

Yeah, they went half price last year. Probably will be the same again if they can't shift them in a few days.

Roses are a mere shadow of what they once were .. because they are now owned by Kraft who appear to be fully amnesic regarding what was once a great brand ... now the choice is greatly reduced and the quality is similar .. er..thats it .. Cheers

+++++ 100000000

Roses are now poor ;-)

You got that right ... type "Cadburys Roses" and "poor" and see the forum discussions on the subject .. I actually wrote to Cadbury .. whinged.. and got a free £5.00 voucher off 'em.
To buy MORE Roses .... d'oh!

I got a tin for £4 this afternoon in Sainsburys, put them away for an extra fathers day pressie, dated till October, resisted on getting any for myself, and I think Roses are the best selection by far!

Has anybody EVER paid more than £5 for a tin of these? £4 really is all they are worth max.

have to get myself one of these as iv just finished my quality streets!

None in my local Sainsbury's..can u imagine that? oO

Have you actually compared this product, weight for weight, with the bars of Dairy Milk the Supermarkets sell? E.g. the cheapest for a 400g bar of Dairy Milk is currently £3.28 at Asda. With a tin of Roses you are getting on for 1Kg of chocolate (well over twice the weight) for an additional 72p. I agree that the supposed RRP of £10 is excessive, but £5 is very reasonable. £4 seems like a bargain to me. It's not fair to compare with prices this time last year because costs and prices in general have gone up massively over the past twelve months.
