Just bought these and thought I’d share it here. It’s the best price I’ve seen on amazon. I personally love the retro look. Pretty decent reviews too. Black and brown are at this price.

These are good headphones. The prevous generation were a bit flimsy and could break way too easily but this third generation are more beefy and that seems to have been all sorted now.

Can anyone comment on using these with predominantly hip hop?

Not on sound quality but style wise they look more "classic rock" than "hip hop" in my opinion.

That’s what guardians 5 star review had to say about that,

“The much-loved British brand has improved its wireless on-ear range, perfect for metal and hip-hop heads alike

Same price at Selfridges (in case anyone has a gift card and needs to buy something that it finally a reasonable price)!
No mention of AAC support so won’t sound very good if you are streaming from an iPhone (or other iOS device). Only mentions AptX.

aptX is fine

iphones don't support AptX. If you pair bluetooth hairphones that support AptX and SBC to an iPhone. Then you're using SBC.
Have some heat
I have these and paid around £90 a couple of years ago. I'm no audiophile but they sound brilliant to me and have stood the test of time. I bought a third party hard case for them but honestly hardly use it; they're robust enough to sit at the top of my bag uncased, and also withstand being played with as a toy by the little one when I leave them within reach...
Fantastic headphones at a great price. I've used these for about 6 months after upgrading from the Major II Bluetooth and they are well worth the upgrade - especially at this price!

Battery life is much better than advertised too. I get over 40 hours per charge.
Not a great deal for me, paid £65 from Amazon on 2nd December.
Paid £60 for them in black Friday sale..
I do recommend though! They look a lot better than other, more chunky headphones and sound quality is good enough for me

It’s not nonsense. Apple license AptX for MacOS but not iOS at present (presumably because they fell out with Qualcomm who own AptX over royalty payments for iPhones). Apart from Bose, most manufacturers Bluetooth headphones don’t actually have AAC codec support. If you pair these to an iPhone, everything is transcoded to SBC on the fly. Which sounds rubbish. iOS doesn't show which codec it is using unfortunately.
These are calling out for an Eminem endorsement but it isnt going to happen is it

Sound like great headphones but sadly my ears overheat eventually
Marshall is a great audio brand, heat added

I've had mine from the previous generation for almost 5 years now. As good as new.

Yup good explanation there. Even on Macs there is no guarantee that you're using AAC over SBC, as it appears to default to SBC in some cases - you need to force it to use AAC:

As seen in every tube carriage in London - a good pair
I've had the Marshall Major 2 wireless headphones for a year or two now and they've been brilliant with regular use, so would expect the same good quality from these Can't complain for what you pay!
Zeos just reviewed these and loves'em
Received mine today. I tested them for few hours and let me tell you, it’s a real deal. Punchy, clean and just the right amount of bass. Super impressed.
I bought a pair of these in brown (love the retro look) from Curry's yesterday. They were the same price as amazon but I was offered extra 3 year Instant replacement cover for a tenner which I took. Have only had them on for a short while but really impressed so far.
Good deal but I’m not gonna fold
Price changed OP
