A cutaway Orchestra Model that features a Sitka spruce top paired with cherry back and sides. This FSC Certified model features a modified low oval neck with high performance taper, simple dovetail neck joint, silver binding and heelcap, bone nut and saddle, ebony bridge, a silver bound ebony fingerboard with diamonds and squares inlaid in mother-of-pearl and Fishman Matrix VT Enhance electronics. Aye. There's been some cracking deals on Martins recently, at GuitarGuitar and Andertons. If I didn't have my trusty Martin already, I'd be snapping one up!

@kerbdog which Martin do you have? I've been looking at the MARTIN LXK2 after speaking to some guy playing one at the pub one evening. Sounded great and it will bode well when or child is old enough to start playing due to its size.

I'm not familiar with that model. Mine's a DC-16RGTE (with Aura electronics) that I bought in USA in about 2006.....planning to keep it for life
I wonder what Cherry is like as a tone wood. Looks nice but not sure I'd risk it.
