This was £40 at Costco recently which was a fantastic deal. Hopefully they might have it again for that price at some point.

Can you play it though?
There is a reason this is £60 even with accessories. How is this a deal? What Fender did you buy?

Whilst this looks like a deal, it is actually the most expensive this item has been in the last 4 years.

Whilst it looks like a deal today is today. We live in strange times x
The name is an obvious attempt to mislead the customer - this is NOT "Martin Guitars" which are considerably more expensive.
You'll find these Martin Smiths at Cash Generator quite a lot. They're not great quality but the price reflects that. As for being suitable for a beginner, the chances are the action on these would be unplayable for a beginner. Better to spend a little bit more and get an entry level Fender or something. Then again, if you just want something as a knockabout then these might be worth it, especially if you know enough to be able to set it up so it's playable.
I bought one of these second hand in as new condition (they come up on Gumtree and Ebay a lot) to keep at my girlfriends place. Absolutely horrendous things. Tuners are terrible and you spend ages trying to hold some kind of tuning together. The sound is below par. Ended up selling it on and getting a cheap Squier for around the same price which is ten times better.

I would avoid buying these for a beginner as its likely to put them off very easily. If you want a guitar on a budget go for a second hand Squier/Yamaha/Fender or other well known brand. Don't buy in to these cheap deals as they're often a false economy. Yes you may get the odd playable one, but I wouldn't risk it.

Haircut_100 If he had a problem he would say it.

I didn't need to say anything, it was a strange comment that didn't make too much sense or warrant replying to.
