I've read it and was losing interest long before the end
Saw an excellent show once think its still on YouTube about Gaiman and Johnathon Ross trying to find Steve Ditko
When they finally did (he wouldn't allow cameras) the hero worship in Gaimans eyes was very telling showing his love of Marvel characters and the original artists

Typical of Gaiman lots of good ideas and as expected well written. Just didn't work with me as much as I thought it would - can quite understand why you liked it though. VERY original, which Marvel has lost over last number of years - amongst other things
