Produced by Disney, Avengers Assemble has already earned its name as the top-grossing superhero film of all time, overtaking other huge films including all 3 Spider-Man epics and The Dark Knight. Instead of conquering alone, 6 Marvel superhero characters must join forces to defeat Loki (Tom Hiddleston), an alien who has stolen a powerful object known as the Tesseract and aims to destroy Earth with it. Fan favourites such as Captain America (Chris Evans) and Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) return alongside others and Joss Whedon must weave together their backstories in a masterful and unified plot. This results in a unique effect whereby each Avenger appears to be making a cameo in somebody else’s movie. Avengers Assemble is an Blu-ray you won’t want to miss.

Naturally, they follow everyones lead. Sadly they aren't original anymore

Great price. Obviously I am totally missing why this is cold. I bought from Tesco for £ 13.60 but I also got 250 CC points so it will be interesting whether or not I get a refund of the difference on their price promise.

just finished watching this film and its GREAT also i wish they had left some of the cut stuff in the film or an option for both normal and what cut stuff you want re added as some of the cut scenes add alot more to the film in certain places.

It could be a reaction to Disney apparently releasing this in the UK stripped of extras, or because this was posted as an in store deal earlier...

Yes, we have definitely been short-changed in the UK. For around £20 there's a US version which has

3D Blu-ray
2D Blu-ray
DVD
Digital Copy
Free download of the soundtrack album

as well as all the missing extras (why on earth they didn't include Joss Whedon's commentary is beyond me). They didn't even bother with a Blu-ray / DVD combo in this country, which is very odd for a release of this size.

Apparently so. Plus it shouldn't be edited like the UK version (apparently) has been.
