I suspect they will never be upgraded to 4K. With Disney’s service launching soon it looks like that ship has sailed.

Just saw this too- great deal. Infinity War down to £9.99- the cheapest it’s been (cheaper than Blu-ray too )
Your title implies they’re all £7.99. You should at least add ‘from £7.99’.
If you’re hoping for these titles in 4K I’d hold out for now. Disney May never grant iTunes UHD options. I’d recommend waiting it out to see what Disney do. Maybe VUDU (which offer a Dolby Vision release Infinity War) comes to the UK. Who knows but I’d wait it out on Marvel for now. I know I’m going to be pretty pissed if I bought the catalogue of titles on iTunes just to find out they’ll never make it to a 4K HDR upgrade.

Agreed. I would say the chances of these ever going to 4K is slim to none due to being Disney.
With most of these down to £6.99 elsewhere it's cold from me.
Hope you guys have booked your tickets for Endgame! I feel like a kid! Haha.

Wonder if they will remaster the original trilogy for the launch of the service? If they do I'm in

Epic! Well I managed to snatch a DOUBLE SCREENING of Infinity War + Endgame. All for 15 quid- so I'm pretty chuffed!

Bargain !!! ~They have dropped prices hugely, used to have to pay £19 for IMAX, was only £10odd for Endgame.

Yeah. HUKD has taught me so many life skills - even more so than my schooling!
A little disappointed. The last time the marvel films went down to £7.99 on iTunes they went down to £5.99 a few days later. This doesn’t look to be the case this time which is a little disappointing as there’s still a couple I don’t have.
I made same mistake, only needed Antman and the Wasp to complete mine so went for it at £9.99

The key here is the HDR. For example the UHD disc for Infinity War does not offer Dolby Vision support, that is saved for VUDU streaming in the US. There no guarantees that Disney will offer Dolby Vision on their new premium service. The last thing I’d want is being locked down with a version that’s never going to see a DV upgrade.
I decided against buying the recent iTunes Marvel or Disney films that would have been in 4K normally, but looks like Disney are probably keeping them for themselves for Disney+. They might never be upgraded here, so just waiting to see what happens
I'm worried the fox titles will stop being 4k after Disney have bought them.

I’d imagine that existing Fox titles that are 4K on iTunes will stay that way. It’ll most likely only affect newer ones. This is going to be a problem as the years pass by, more and more services each with their own exclusivity to get customers to buy from them. So unless a service like Movies Anywhere comes along get used to having your movie collection spread across iTunes, Disney and others

One option is get US iTunes & Movies Anywhere accounts setup then buy the codes.
Bought this one for $5(£3.97) yesterday from a listing on Blu-ray.com.

I have considered this option, the problem for me is that you end up with two separate iTunes accounts. Lets face it you're never going to be able to link them together so you always have to switch between them.

The good thing is that for iTunes it only takes about 10 seconds to switch accounts once logged in on AppleTV.
For Movies Anywhere it’s just a case of opening the app, selecting the movie and pressing play.

I guess it’s me being fussy. I’d like to have all my movies in one library, not spread across more than one. Plus if anything happens in the future where they block switching or put longer delays between switches (one month) we may find the US purchases could become a hassle or worse unobtainable.
BLACK PANTHER- £5.99
Marvel's 4K digital franchise is only available on Amazon. Not cheap though

Thanks for the reply, may buy some then, I'm not really fussed on 4k despite having 2 4k tvs. I can tell the difference but barely. Definitely not worth the price of 4k Blu-rays for the most part.

Yeah I started collecting 4K Blu-ray as I wasn’t keen on digital at the time. But gave Apple TV a try and haven’t looked back..pretty much sold all my 4K discs while they still have value

Cool, I'm a bit of a dinosaur and I do like collecting physical media but I see where the market is going and I'm trying to adapt to a digital world.
Surely Disney would be making even more money if they allow for 4K release on iTunes as well? I’m not going to buy into a Disney streaming service but a lot of people would I expect, so surely allowing sales on another service too would just spread the product sales further (?) i. Sure someone will correct me though.
Pure greed and short sighted by Disney IMHO. Not for the first time either, anybody remember DVD vs Divx
