This 8 disc box set consists of the amazing adventures and battles of Captain America, Iron Man, the Sub-Mariner and Thor. With approx 15 hours of super hero action this is the ultimate box set for all Marvel and super hero fans.

The Mighty Thor:
Thor is based on the thunder god of Norse mythology. On a mission from his father, the omnipotent Lord of Asgard, Odin, Thor acted as a superhero while maintaining the secret identity of Dr. Donald Blake, an American physician with a partially disabled leg. Blake would transform by tapping his walking stick on the ground.

Iron Man:
The suave CEO of Stark Enterprises, Tony Stark, is a high-tech genious and billionaire making the world's most imaginative weapons defense systems. But when a powerful competitor attempts to kill him, and almost succeeds, he must build a modern-day suit of armor to stay alive.

Submariner:
The first 'Marvel Hero' of the Golden Age of Comics, Namor McKenzie has been both beloved and reviled by Humans and Atlantians alike. He is a rare hybrid endowed with great strength, power over the undersea world, the ability to breathe both in and out of water, and the gift of flight.

Captain America:
Captain America is the alter ego of Steve Rogers, a sickly young man who was given enhanced strength and reflexes by an experimental serum in order to aid the United States war effort.

Please bear in mind these are from around 1968 and are pretty basic animation. I got this set from Sendit for £6.99 last year, sold it to a Canadian on ebay for £20.

Brought these for my son and said there rubbish animation but he had been brought up on clone wars LOL

Yep - got mine for £6.73 from The Hut a while back - ]http//ww…ct/

We have only watched a couple of episodes - the animation is very basic - lots of zooming in/out/around the scene in place of any movements - my kids weren't really interested at all (and my son is nuts about superheroes)...........

Have a look here to]http//uk…YLo see what they are about - and check out Tony Starks' animated smile!

Dan; I would say it's "go back to school animation".

In fairness, a lot of 1960's animation was like this
