I've never read a comic. What are the go-tos? (Appreciate any help. Pretty overwhelming selection!)

Heat.

Think it's a good deal but personally I prefer comic in my hand and can appreciate the artwork better in a comic then on iPad etc

@mackashworth I’d recommend this trial and if you like the more serious sort, try the Planet Hulk arc (you can select it in Events I think and then it gives you a recommended reading order and jumping in point). If you want comedy, try Squirrel Girl - you can start with the first one it’s ace.

I'd want to start somewhere that would feel familiar to a fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe so I would commend Invincible Iron Man (2008 - 12) by Matt Fraction and Captain America (2004 - 11) by Ed Brubaker as decent sized runs you could get your teeth into.

Quickest way to help us narrow it down, what's the last TV show and movie you enjoyed?

I'm confused. Are you talking to yourself?

You start with Watchmen and Dark Knight Returns and quickly realise no comic has come close to them since..

Regardless i'm not much of a Marvel fan but I think my favourite is the Astonishing X-men series.
