Clocked this in my local while picking up some goodies for work.

Was going to buy one from gamestation when it was around £13 but as this price i couldn't resist.

Appreciatte that these don't get a lot of heat as usually store specific but worth checking yours just in case

(My local is Motherwell and there were 2 or 3 left in their reduced section. Didn't see any PS3 though i'm afraid but you never know)

Instore only as well i'm afraid as its still £20 online

Reserved in case photo wanted. (trying to figure out how to do on iphone as now at work)

Could the photo please include today's newspaper, a receipt and another picture of yourself handing over the cash to a cashier (with the ASDA logo clearly in the background).

Thanks in advance!

Classic!

Have some heat, I'm sure it's real.

Its crap better off buying street fighter arcade edition

Was it a shelf-edge label price (and therefore nationwide) or a red sticker on the box (and therefore store specific)?

It was a red sticker i'm afraid

Rubbish

There's a new version incoming, whether this is a retail release or DLC is still unclear but knowing Capcom... 12 new characters to be added though!

I couldnt get into this game , no skill involved , its like an old school button masher ,good price , heat added

That's about all the game is worth.

Agreed, by controller took a pummeling. Quickly bored of it!

Super Marvel Vs Capcom 3?

Super Marvel Vs Capcom 3?

I wouldn't be surprised they were never the most imaginative when it comes to naming games. The characters are up on event hubs. I can't remember them all but we're getting Frank West and Chuck Green for Capcom and Venom/anti-venom for Marvel.

What a bargain, not for everyone, but if you like beat 'em ups this is a must buy.

Have htis game - takes alot of time to get to grips with it, other than just button mashing and hoping for the best - but when it clicks.... button mashers do not have a prayer against you. Problem is do you have the time and will power to learn it, a game like street fighter many of us already have aquired the basic skills for simple combos and ultras, meaning we can build upon this knowledge, but MVC3 requires the majority to learn a whole new fighting system, and imho many cant be bothered.

But to say no skill involved is way of the truth

Just wait for King of Fighters XIII instead.

It's going to take a blood written oath and sacrifice of their first born if they want my hot vote.

Have been to 2 Asda Colchester & Basildon and neither have this game discounted. Must be a store special

this game is well worth a tenner its really good just a shame there wasnt 52 fighters like the second one, still a great game for fighting game fans prefer it over super street fighter any day!!

SF Third strike is being released on Xbox live/PSN soon too.

Waiting for 3S as well, gonna be hard to learn to parry.

You'll be alright, not that much of it goes on. some of it has to be so well timed that even microscopic online lag can throw it off. I play on PC using GGPO (the same system XBLA will use) and you only really see it when a player is cornered. It's quite easy to telegraph.

Never knew there were so many hardcore FG plays on HUKD! Why arent you all on Neo Empire

i'm an SRK man

The XBL version will use GGPO too so the lag will hopefully be minimal (less than on PC because there will be a much larger player base).

On the deal, this is a great one. Probably more fun for casual players than Street Fighter because of the control system and the range of recognisable Marvel characters.

£20 in MK to save anyone a trip.

oh no not another one of these threads, voted cold!

will check asda tonight, nearly got it at game today for £13 second hand !

Quite tempted to get this, however felt the reason that it's gone down in price quick is poss the retail may know a super version is out soon so they are getting rid asap before announcement from capcom,,, I'm gonna wait till wot capcom says before i make a purchase.

Gone for it for 9.98 ish 2n hand from game online. Well 4.98 as I had game points.

Capcom game prices always drop like a brick. This took a while. Even if you sell it you will get a few quidback. Cheaper than a rental for ten quid.

Does it use a code for online play ?

I was one of the people that paid full price for this. Worth £10 but no way £30.

It is rubbish. Worth £10 though to find out that its rubbish. Just wish I'd known a few months back game were doing an exchange and I could have got a new game for an extra £5. After this game and yet another version of street fighter, I might call it a day with the street fighter series now.

I don't see how anyone can say this is rubbish.

You guys must not know how to play it and button mash all the time. Get some skill, losers.

Has anyone actually managed to find a copy of this game for £10 at asda to confirm?

£22.95 in my local asda

Yet again another asda store specific deal / wild goose chase and the heat goes through the roof. You might as well post 6 pack of fresh rolls reduced from £1 to 10p at Asda Wolverhampton. Were 3 packs left on the shelf. Why people keep voting hot on these sort of posts is beyond me. Great for the op and anybody else who visits that store but please only vote hot if anyone else can confirm getting this offer in other stores. This then gives a better indication for people if its worth making a special trip to there local Asda. And for all the people who will probably slate me now for this post, its not a deal, it's a one off offer.

LoL you dont need to button bash in this game there is an option where each button performs a special move.

The game is dated its like if Im playing a PS2 Game, I admit I dont know the moves of the characters but this game sucked so much I didnt want to learn it.

I have Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter 4 both of them are on a different league compare to this crap. I enjoyed playing Mortal Kombat and was more then willling to put the effort in to learn every players move to enjoy the story mode.

Its happened to me twice went to tesco and they were out of stock my advice dont bother with store deals unless its only 5 mins away or its a new game release deal where they have plenty in stock and price is nationwide

OH MAI !! Motherwell never has any deals on, and the first time i read this it's too late !!! I'll have to swing past first thing when i get back from my night shift.

Yes I totally agree. For theses store specific deals I do pop into my local if passing but would never make a special trip out as 9 times out of ten you can never get the offer. As for people just randomly voting hot on these type of store specific posts, it just doesn't give a true reflection on wether or not its a great deal and over the past year or so its becoming more of a regular occurance on HotUkdeals and gets slightly tedious having to trawl through page after page of posts to find only 1 person(normally the op) getting the deal.
