Yeah, feels to me like a quick price dropper for sure. Online game with plenty of micro transaction cash to chase. Will be £25 by next month I reckon.
I'll bite at £10.
Game is fun but it's broken as hell. One of the most broken games iv played in many a year

GAME breaking bugs and it's going to take months to fix them all
I got this when it was around £39 on EBay via game collection. The campaign is great and I really enjoyed it, but the load times are appalling, and when the action picks up the drops are very noticeable. I took it to CEX today and got £36 back, I will buy it again when I replace my One X with a Series X in November, by then I reckon it will be £25 or less, and running/playing as intended.

Played the beta for the Fortnite hulk smashers and it was horrible, i was so happy when i'd finished. Boring to say the least.

Fun with friends. Interesting story if you're a marvel fan. I'm not that far though so that's my initial thoughts.

One thing that did annoy me was that it was never made clear that the main story missions are not co-op.
Button mashing pap.

But my 9 year old loves it, so I guess its hitting the right market.
Campaign is great, everything else is somewhat iffy. Could be an overall great game down the line but right now the multiplayer aspect is nothing to shout about.
Just remember... Deus Ex died for this
I'll wait a week or 2 for it to be £15
£20 and I will give it a go.

aww, Deus Ex...
Hereeee weeee goooo unsurprising really. Still not buying it.
This game has a lot of similarities to Destiny.
Which was boring and repetitive during year 1, but then became a great game when year 2 content was released.

I would say wait a year, pick it up super cheap with loads more content and less bugs

I bought it and sold it in the space of 3 days losing £3 so I can't complain. I thought the game was repetitive and oh my the bugs were shocking! Had to restart my PS4 Pro 4 times as game breaking bugs stopped my play through.
Thanks for confirming that as I was going to buy this purely for the online co op and I understand that you have to play the main campaign in single player then there are co op missions after which is terrible!
I'll bite when it's £5 with 6 months Spotify, they should of called this the Ms Marvel game instead of Avengers

On xbox I've had similar game breaking bugs too. To the point of pulling plug out (which I would never normally do) but it was stuck in a loop of the game being hibernated.

The problem is the gameplay itself is really mediocre, don't see them being able to patch that

I feel the opposite Destiny 1 was great and the content was brilliant. The 1st 2 raids were quality.
Then Destiny 2 came out and it was same old stuff so repetitive.
sargey2210/09/2020 14:33

Snap.

...aaand suddenly there goes half of all life in the universe...
any ideas why its saying pre-order and not buy it? its been out for nearly a week now
Cex trades this in for £36
Would only touch if it comes to Gamespass/Playstation Plus. Bargin bin filler by the new year.
Playing the campaign at the moment and must admit I'm not finding it to be very interesting or involving. As has been mentioned, the load times are painful, so I'm sweating every time there's a tricky jump to be made as I can't stand the time it takes to reload if I fall off the edge. The Xbox got pretty noisy tonight while I was playing this, and when I checked it it was very hot, which I've never had before. I'll finish the campaign but then will probably trade it in the rate is still decent.

Yeah I don't mean Destiny 2, but year 2 of Destiny 1.

The taken king and rise of iron expansions. Weapons were great and better balanced (not just running the gjallarhorn non stop) just way more content to do on the weekly reset.
But yeah, Vault of Glass and Crota were great raids

I have low hopes for this game looks like one of the games that drops Soo low in price that the developers forget about it
Redpizzi10/09/2020 14:31

£20 and I will give it a go.

Just bought off fb marketplace for £20, ps4
My lad loves this game,
Really enjoying this. I think it would've been better if they'd focused purely on the single player so the gear and skills would've been more focused, but the multiplayer is optional.
Solo campaign missions are actually all right I thought. Bit annoying having to go and collect parts to progress etc as I'd done all the side missions which consist of the same. Which is very short. I think they had something here but ended up a massive let down and concentrating on cosmetics and side missions.

The war zones are very repetitive, couple maps being reused.

The loot system is ridiculous. I had to scrap so much after every mission due to my inventory filling up. Upgrading is pointless because there's a max 10 level upgrade for legendary items. But you'll have better gear within 3 missions. Spent 5 to 10 mins every mission on average sorting it all out.

The game is also broken. Several times for me and friends I know, game freezing, sometimes after a 40 min mission at the end. Textures wrong or plain not loading. Enemies sometimes invincible causing a reload or won't even attack you. Had a bald black widow at one point too. Its worse than unity was in terms of buggy.

I'd bite at 25 if this is your thing but ultimately a let down even with the enjoyable bits.

I will say the voice acting was excellent. And the story itself i thought was ok, if a little rushed.
I'll wait for the inevitable "Definitive Edition" on next gen consoles with a the DLC and bugs fixed.
Can buy it, lock in a price with Cex for £36 for 10 days, complete the campaign and send it to them for £1 profit
