Edit: Checked my bank account and the money has been taken...Probably will refund it, but so far so good hah.

Asda must have an issue with their site, Doubt it'll be honoured

Ordered, doubt it'll come though

This price is ridiculas. Ordered

Thanks

not a chance in hell will they honour this.

Definate misprice but worth a punt i guess.

ordered on the off chance that they honour it. great spot if they do tho

It's the price of The Avengers BD on it's own - clearly a mix up!!!

From reading the pre-order price promise it seems they charge on order not dispatch.

They have to honour this surely, The contract is agreed as payment is taken?

It won't accept the order for me... goes back to to the basket ;/

mine wont complete the order! gutted

Same here .

Same here .

And here

Well why the hell not?

same here

Takes me back to my basket :-(

wont complete

Just keeps looping back to the basket when I try to order, shame! I don't often bother with taking a punt on misprices, but this one is worth it! Good luck those who have managed to get an order in

Them having taken your money does not entitle you to it at that price. They're very likely protected against this kind of thing in the T&Cs that you would have ticked a box to confirm you had read, but hadn't

Was definitely working when I posted, they must have noticed, didn't take them long!

Yup. Same here too. Didn't want to do more than 2 tries. But was able to order the 3d avengers assemble.

Loops here, too

if they don't honour it complain, they usually send you vouchers and you can put it towards the full price box set

I can't order?

Edit: Okay, there is a general issue

I recently ordered a load of cheap blurays from the hive, Titles like Star Wars Clone Wars Seasons 1 - 3 for 80p etc...

That deal was honored as they charged on order not on dispatch, We'll see. Worth a punt anyway.

Couldn't order this but The Avengers 3D combo pack went through no bother for £9

Worth a try as well.

The order didn't go through at first but it did when i tried the normal dvd collection and it worked.

Yeah I'll probably complain.

They've taken all my personal details, address, phone number, debit card details etc, then it goes straight-back to the Basket/Checkout page again, stupid ASDA (_;)

Are you really that stupid? It says £9.00 above not free. (_;)

No luck with the BRD despite doing it at about 6 mins after the post hit the site. Got the DVD one though, so fingers crossed! Will keep my Amazon BRD pre-order just in case.

Ordered the dvd

DVD posted here: http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/marvel-s-avengers-6-movie-collection-dvd-boxset-1264373

Thanks for the heads-up on the Blu-Ray, unfortunately too late for that, but got the DVDs.

ordered the standard dvd set well worth it for £9 couldn't process the blu ray.

...although mine has been marked as spam for some reason!?

Bring on the ASDA hate threads when they cancel all your orders. It makes me laugh that you guys actually expect them to honor your orders and bring up trading standards and such, and before you all do:

"We reserve the right, however, to change prices at any time without notice to you. Every effort is made to ensure that prices shown are accurate at the time you place your order. Provided that your order has not already been delivered, then if within 14 days of accepting your order a pricing error is found in respect of any or all of the goods you have ordered, we will notify you as soon as possible detailing the mis-priced goods and offer you the option of:-

placing a new order at the correct price for those goods;
cancelling the whole of your order; or
cancelling your order for the mis-priced goods and reconfirming your order for the correctly priced goods
If, within 7 days of receipt of our notice to you, you have not responded by selecting one of the available options above then:

if all of the goods you have ordered are found to be mis-priced the entire order will be cancelled automatically and we will refund or re-credit you for any sum you have paid for those goods; or
If only some of the goods you have ordered are found to be mis-priced, we will deliver the correctly priced goods but we will not be obliged to supply you with the mis-priced goods. In these circumstances we will refund or re-credit you for any sum you have paid for the mis-priced goods.
In the event that a pricing error is found by us, then the above options shall only apply if your order delivery has not been completed"

Tesco have pretty much the same thing, so all you idiots who believe the company actually owes you something or that you can get a result by going to trading standards need to grow the **** up. Companies aren't going to take massive £1000's worth of hits just to give you something for basically nothing.

Definite misprice. When you click through on any of the asda deals via mobile there's a HUKD add to deals link. Selecting that shows the real prices.

Not that i'd even think about doing anything other than accepting it if they emailed and said it was a misprice (which it is), but you're completely wrong, companies do sometimes take the hit with these things to avoid any bad publicity, or just as a way of keeping on their customers good sides (given how quickly this was stopped, i very much doubt they'd be taking much of a loss anyway).

It was only a few months ago I got myself a Panasonic 50" GT30 3DTV for £150 when people had exactly the same attitude you had (and in that case they lost more than just a few grand, they took a huge hit on alot of orders from people on here). These places for the most part are pretty covered with their terms, that doesnt mean people shouldnt try their luck, sometimes it pays off, other times it doesnt.
