Has been hovering around the £10 mark since it's recent Region 2 release (24th Jan), current prices:
£12.99 on HMV
£10.85 at Zavvi / The Hut

I don't expect this to get scorching but i love this film and some people might have been looking for it since it has only been available in other countries until recently.

Academy Award-winning Harvie Krumpet director Adam Elliot returns to the world of clay animation with this simple tale of the innocent correspondence between a portly eight year old girl from the suburbs of Melbourne and a morbidly obese, middle-aged Jewish New Yorker suffering from Asperger's Syndrome. On the surface it would seem that Mary (Toni Collette) and Max (Philip Seymour Hoffman) would have little in common, but over the course of twenty years, the unlikely pen pals exchange letters discussing everything from taxidermy, trust, pets, religion, obesity, autism, agoraphobia, alcoholism, and just about any other topic that comes to mind as they sit down and put pen to paper. Barry Humphries and Eric Bana provide additional voices.

Certificate 12 but it does deal with some adult themes, just so that you're aware.

Negative voters - Show me where it's cheaper! This is over £4 cheaper than anywhere else.

Wanna see this but needs to be cheaper for me, still the cheapest atm tho.

This is a really good movie. Slow and sad with happy moments though but £6.49 for a dvd seems expensive these days.

I suppose so but considering it's only been out 2 months and before that was only released on region 1 last year i think it's reasonable for people who want it and have been waiting so they didn't have to get it imported. It's inevitably going to drop in price but this is by far the best price now and pretty reasonable for a new dvd i think.

In contrast to other DVDs released the same day it comes off very cheaply, for example: RED, Devil and The Other guys are all still either £9.99 or more. I know that those are hollywood films but just an example of how the price on this has dropped significantly in a short period comparatively.
