Nope, it's free shipping no minimum spend. Use code FREESHIP
Good find op I just bought some blending sponges too for £1.20 and the mascara 80p. Some face powder £1.20 and eyebrow stencils. Thankyou
Unless they’ve gone back to a uk supply they ship from America, when I bought stuff a few months back I got stung with import charges not realising they no longer have a UK warehouse. I used to like ELF but after that never again.

think that looks to still be the case as its 8 to 10 days for delivery. However ordered a few of these and as long as you are under £15 you should not get hit with customs fees.

My last order was for £10 but they marked the package with the rrp price instead of the sale price. The import charges weren't the stinger it was the £8 RM handling fee. Just a heads up really for anyone buy a few items instead of the one listed.

Sorry i didnt get what you mean. I ordred two items and all my orders are £2 i paid. So you think will they charge me more? I paid by paypal
Thanks just placed order.
Thanks Rapira
Great spot!

Used ELF a few times in the past. Their products frequently appear on the glossy mags beauty pages so all good!
Ordered 4 items from the sale, but did find the buying process quite awkward and it took a while before payment actually went through without charging me shipping costs. Anyway, looking forward to receiving my ELF products. Thanks OP.
3 mascaras and a lip gloss for £3.60
Thanks OP! Its not on the sale page, but the Tinted Shape & Stay Wax Pencil in Blonde is also £1.80 if you click on the blonde colour
Does Royal mail charge £8 then even if under £15? Surely that is incorrect?
Order 3 times from elf at the end of December £42, £28 & £16 didn’t get charged any import taxes or rm charges

Maybe with the free shipping code, things could be ordered separately so no import vat
7.90 and got loads of stuff to put in sisters birthday box
Thanks op, but what a clunky website.
Site crashed or what, slug as hell

I'd be outraged! Did you try contacting Elf to complain about it?

When you buy from an non EU country you get customs fees in anything over £15, in some cases the company sending the items may have their distribution sites outside of the EU but have process in place so you don’t see these charges. However if they don’t, you are treated like any other import and if the amount is over £15 you will have to pay customs. If the item comes through by Royal Mail they charge a handling fee of £8 on top of any duty you have to pay. Other delivery companies will also charge its their way of charging for the service of getting the customs fee from you and paying it back to HMRC. Sound excessive but there is a bit of processing involved.

One poster has has said that they once got charged could be that at the time Elf didn’t have an agreement to take the customs fees, could be an error but on the customs declaration for they put the RRP instead of what was paid. It’s supposed to be what is paid not the RRP. Other posters are saying there was no charge on recent transactions.
@eslick thanks for explaining, thats exactly it. I've had many items from the US before and not had to pay import, its seemingly sporadic and I was clearly unlucky in this case.

@kkcc yes and I got the "we're very sorry..." obligatory email and a 20% off of a future purchase code which I never used.

Anyhow, it was only mentioned to people because they obviously still aren't freely advertising their stock is shipped from the US warehouse, many people aren't aware of the additional costs
Just spent a fiver on 5 items. Thanks op. Smile ☺
Freeship discount code doesn't work
apparently its not that good according to reviews no wonder its so cheap
My mascaras just came there both dried up and unusable ( one in pic)
Came today and is completely dry!
They has send me a refund. Waste of time anyway.
Daughter opened hers when she got it and it was also totally dry, sent them an email and no response, daughter asked about two weeks ago what happened, I forgot to chase it. So loads of emails between then and now and not a single response. Opened a case yesterday and PayPal refunded in a couple of hours. Shocking customer service.
