One of the world's most acclaimed comedies, M*A*S*H focuses on three Korean War Army surgeons brilliantly brought to life by Donald Sutherland, Tom Skerritt and Elliott Gould. Though highly skilled and deeply dedicated, they adopt a hilarious, lunatic lifestyle as an antidote to the tragedies of their Mobile Army Surgical Hospital, and in the process infuriate Army bureaucrats. Robert Duvall, Gary Burghoff and Sally Kellerman co-star as a sanctimonious Major, an other-worldly Corporal, and a self-righteous yet lusty nurse...

Thanks for this. Loved this series.........but really showing my age 'cause I suppose most on here have never heard of it!

edit.......oops no its the movie

thought it was the series with Alan Alder. Film still good but not the same

A good comedy is a good comedy regardless of the year it was produced and people who have good taste, whatever age they are, would like it.
Heat added and ordered. excellent find.

Outstanding comedy.
You would be a fool to miss this.

The films over 10 years older than me, and I'd put it in my top 3 of all time. Fantastic price for a sheer masterpiece of cinema.

Oh boy, you would not believe how many years of memories this series provides, every Weds @21:00, house had to shut up cause dad would watch it, now, my 11 year old has just about every bloomn episode of every series on the sky+ hard disk. Oddly, wasn't a fan of the film but very grateful for the series & subsequent memories it spawned, good spot, heat n rep added. Thanks :-)

Yep loved the series and I am sure the film (don't want to buy it), will look out for the series
