The classic 80's series is back!

While investigating the mysterious death of his brother, Matt Trakker uncovers an international organisation known as venom, dedicated to nefarious criminal activities in every corner of the world. Driven by his quest to know the truth about his brother's demise, Matt gathers together a number of friends who, like himself, are ordinary people who possess extraordinary talents, and creates Mask. Their objective : to destroy Venom and its mastermind, the abominable Miles Mayhem.

Joined by his young son Scott and his faithful robot T-Bob, Matts conspirators in Mask Include: Bruce Sato, an inventor of outlandish children's toys who serves as Mask's engineer and mechanic; Hondo MacLean, an extraordinary history teacher whose courage and fearlessness make him an integral part of Mask; Buddy Hawks, garage mechanic; Brad Turner, an outrageous rock musician; Alex Sector, a computer expert who, by day runs a nondescript pet shop; Dusty Hayes, a pizza vendor whose specialty is auto and marine stunt driving, and the beautiful Gloria Baker, a driving school instructor whose superior mastery of the martial arts makes her a lethal weapon.

To keep their identities secret, each member of Mask wears a mask which also provides them with extraordinary powers, including holographic projection, remote control lasers and the Mask agents even have the ability to transform their vehicles into watercrafts and planes. Armed with their super-powered masks and their desire to make the world a safer place, Mask is relentless in its quest against Venom, and will never rest until Miles Mayhem is brought to justice for his crimes against humanity.

Classic show

i remember waking up in the wee hours on a Saturday morning, and switching in ITV with my bowl of cornflakes and watching this. Man I feel so old...

For a Scooby Snack, can anyone remeber what M.A.S.K. and V.E.N.O.M. stand for?

It says on the amazon description this only features the 1st 38 out of 75 episodes.

I guess it's the complete 1st series.

I was frothing at the mouth when I thought it was the COMPLETE series.

Used to love the little orange/brown truck that had a little boat inside, like everyone else I also lost the missiles hidden underneath Matt Trackers car

Still a hot deal even if not by much

God, I remember this! I'm sure I used to have some sort of M.A.S.K. toys as well.

Me and my mates had literally masses - probably about 20 or something.

They were like the original Star Wars toys, extremely well made if slightly more brittle - I broke a corner off of the 'spring action' grill on the front of Rhino Rig - looked like it had teeth missing!

Title needs changing to 'Vol 1'. This is 4 discs btw.

This indeed seems to be the case. I updated the title accordingly, thanks!

A pity that the Hut product description is misleading, as this is not clearly as good a deal as I originally thought. Still the best online price for series 1, though.

Kudos, and well done too.

BTW - I lied about the ]scooby snack, so have some rep instead! :whistling:

I got this when it was posted about a week ago with HMV. Only watched one episode but if that's any indication the picture quality isn't very good. Distinctly below the standard of comparitive series that I've seen (Transformers, Thundercats, Visionaries etc.). But it's not unwatchable by any means. And it's a great series and well worth it at this price. Now I'm just waiting for Centurions and Voltron!

I forgot there was a TV series for this. I must have watched it, though, considering how much I loved the toys.
