Awesome price! Nice find

It's a farce that this is so low already!

I've only had one 10.5hr sitting and it's infuriating to see it plummet despite the fact it's selling really well.

PC version, not surprised.
the longer it stays up, the more pirates it attracts.

I think I'm just angry because the games I buy go down so quickly, yet the slightly older ones I want go up in price: e.g. Fallout 3: GOTY

Played Fallout on 360 but want to try it out fully modded on my new PC.

I read on a PSU post that you were building a new rig based on a core i5 750, I bought one of these last week from Aria, could you send me your pc spec. Thanks

I'm absolutely loving it, but I've already pulled it to pieces four times just to try out different cable management ideas lol.

About to pull the trigger this afternoon on Noctua fans and heatsink which is going to run me close to £100.

Mass Effect 2 looks incredible with AA forced through Catalyst.

Yeah, with the slight issue that it's sold out. Seems to be the problem at all the retailers that were selling it at a good price.
Reluctant to spend £18.99, it's more than a lot of the preorders for new titles (and I have already played it).

Don't take it personally but you overpaid. For that price you should have an i7 rig with change in your pocket.

Oh I know, just had my heart set on certain components so the cost is horribly inflated (Could easily have done it for £800 or less otherwise). Amazingly I did invest a lot of time getting them as cheap as possible, though I would have saved a lot of money building it in Dec.

If I'd waited a month I would now change to an i7 920 but I wasn't expecting to have any money for a while.

nah nah nah

It's easier to copy and run a 360 game than a PC one, hands down. I don't know why developers whine so much other than the reason that it's cheaper for them to develop a game for a (relatively ancient) platform like the 360 and charge more than double what they used to charge for a PC game.

Infinity Ward managed to alienate a huge amount of PC gamers (myself included) in a single interview. They won't be so cocky when the console market dips and they come crying to us like when developers did when the Xbox1/PS2 slowed to almost a halt while the next gen console was developed.

I stopped reading at that point; as you are clearly talking rubbish.

Regarding ME2; I don't see what all the raving is about.
The combat is repetitive, the story clichéd, character interactions predictable, loot system non-existant, XP/upgrade system overly simplistic, and what were they thinking with the resource scanning.....
The visuals are nice, but let down by poor texture resolution and lineality of the environments.

I'm also not at all fond of cover shooters; dumbing down to accomodate the limitations of gamepads removes practically all of the skill for PC players.

I like FPS's and I like RPG's, but this blend of the 2 doesn't IMO work well at all, you just get a lackluster FPS and a shallow RPG.

I enjoyed KOTOR far more.

Just out of interest any idea what score you getting on 3dmark 06 with that rig ?

Game of the year for sure.
A bit shorter then ME1 though
I completed it with all the side missions in 26hours, I didnt do all the upgrades though because gold farming is dull

I lulled.

PC gaming died for me as soon as they started locking the games to online accounts and steam meaning you couldn't sell them on if they proved to be rubbish. I now own a PS3 and whilst the graphics are so so poor compared to the PC I enjoy gaming on it and enjoy being able to pick up second hand games and trade my old ones in. No longer do I fear buying a full priced game and having it stuck to an online account meaning I'm stuck with it.

Pirates didn't kill PC gaming for me, the developers did with their anti-piracy tactics that only affected legitimate buyers. Every game released with anti-piracy gets pirated so give up already with persecuting honest PC buyers!

As for this game costing £18 I would buy that on PC because I loved number 1 and don't have a 360! If the games are out on PC and PS3 I will always buy the console version though.

Funnily enough direct from Logitech. They had a 12 days of Christmas sale and the final day was 25% off (so £69.99 > £52.49). Luckily it was just enough to qualify for free shipping

The discount was not supposed to be valid against preorders but I had no problem. It even arrived before Christmas which was well in advance of UK retailers. I notice it seems to be rather difficult to buy the UK model and incredibly expensive.

Do you not think that a discussion on the finer points of software piracy would be totally off-topic, and against the terms of use for this forum?

your xbox can get banned for pirating, a pc will remain unharmed.
it may be easier to copy 360 games but less people will do it since they cant get away with it as easy as the pc pirates.
plus people who play xbox are not as competent as PC users when it comes to piracy.

I have a PS3 also, but have lost all hope of supporting them as a company for many reasons.

Gaming overall has a few years left before it is dead to me (an avid gamer). Sony/ Slant Six are already charging for online play portion of Socom 3 ($20 - you can buy whole games for that), citing priracy as a reason.

The flaw with the argument is that CFW PSPs (capable of playing pirated games - capable being the key word here), are banned from the PSN network. Sony, devs, etc. have made no secret of their distain for the pre-owned gaming market, and have many business models to elimiate this.

I thought they would wait a few more years at least.

I've not heard brilliant reviews for this game but i'll give it a go as I loved the first one

But i'm not sure i've heard of the site before, anyone know much about it? Any problems with them?

My game came yesterday,
Sealed and everything , but there was no Cerberus code inside, EA told me to contact the retailer. I don't think this has anything to do with coolshop though.

Edit:

Sorted
Just phoned them EA, don't bother emailing them.

Edit:
Cool shop also emailed me a code.
