I really like this game, didn't get on with the 1st trilogy going back as controls felt horrible etc but that's often the case with backwards compatible stuff or how I feel anyway.

I really loved this game in fact am in the middle of another play thru now.

There's a LOT of game for under a tenner, the game took a lot of flak because its not featuring Shepard & throws the results of his hard work away in the milky way.

It's a shame with some dlc this could've been brilliant. I'm waiting for the book to find out about the missing Quarian ark.

If you're unsure buy it it's totally worth it for the hours of game in it.

It's also included in EA Access too don't forget.

Still too much
Looks like a mis-price unless they're ahead of the game? Pardon the pun...

Store checker online says £9.99 instore, and plenty of stock available.
I will wait for £5, it seems like a similar game to Deus Ex Mankind Divided in quality i mean.
Just get EA access
This game is great. It may not follow the same path as the old ones but its still well worth it. Alot of the bad reviews it got were undeserved in my opinion.
Wish they would x enhance this

How far you gotta run?
Honestly, i'd highly recommend spending another £8, buying EA access for a year and playing this through that way, atleast you won't feel like you wasted money at the end of it.

Nice deal OP, but this game was not a patch on the previous trilogy.

Got a link for a deal on those? Full price a bit too much for me
I wouldn't bother, even at this price. I found the game boring, mainly because of the lame characters, and it pales in comparison to the first three.

If you really must play it, get EA Access for around £20. Download the original trilogy and play them. Then get this and see why it is disappointing. The developers pretty much abandoned this after critical patching of its various flaws around release, so I wouldn't hold my breath on seeing any Xbox One X enhancements.

The article below is a good read, and chronicals the pain this game went through during development. It should give you some idea why it is in the situation it is:

Same here but tbh I havent really played any of the Mass Effect games but it looks like space version Oblivion to me (a game I adore) so I can see giving it more of my time than other titles. Then again I see half of the people saying the game is dull and another half saying after patches is actually amazing (and here is where my actual struggle lies).

If you've played the first three and enjoyed them, you'll likely not enjoy this one. If you haven't played the first three, where have you been living? But you may enjoy this game.

I'd honest recommend the EA access route myself, £20 for a year, and you get a plethora of games to play, many of which will be miles better than this. Just my two cents though. (FYI Mass Effect Trilogy is available on EA access too ) They're genuinely very very good games.

For a tenner it's worth a try. I've platinum'ed this one and got full gamerscore on the first three and whilst it isn't great, maybe try to not think of it as the next Mass Effect game as that'll colour your expectations and you should have at least a good amount of fun with it.

Edit: Seen your other post. Yes. It's honestly a bit dull at points but it can still be some fun. But huge huge no, it's absolutely nothing like Oblivion.

I have heard they are and unfortunately I havent really played them as I used to be mainly an online gamer (with LoL, WoW and CS:GO eating up all my play time). Therefore I dont really have vast knowledge on the Mass Effect franchise. And although EA Access is great I am one of those guys who likes having the physical copies

As I said above, get EA Access and play the first 3, then this if you want

That's fair enough, I completely understand your hestitation and your want to own physical copies, in which case I'd recommend scouring your local charity shops as copies of ME1-3 regularly pop up in mine for a couple of pound each. Definitely worth a punt.
I picked this up about a year ago and I play it all the time.

I’m a slow gamer so the pace suits me. I tried to like the original trilogy but they just weren’t for me (especially the gameplay).

It seems to me to be an optimistic, relaxed, adventure sci-fi. I play it on easy and just bounce around the planets talking to people and taking on whatever missions sound interesting.

Graphics are often beautiful, puzzles arent soul destroying, plenty of weapon types.

Criticisms from reviewers were: dodgy body animations and facial movement (these must have been fixed as I’ve never seen anything). It also got a bad rap for being SJW focused but again I’ve never come across anything PC being forced down my throat though it does seem geared towards diplomatic avenues which in the game world is a bit rare. I remember playing old Star Trek games where they couldn’t figure out how to do anything but fire phasers so I think it’s an achievement to be honest.

Out of interest I did also see the first 2 pre-owned for Xbox 360 (playable on Xbox One) in the store for £1.99 each.
Sorry, my face is tired from dealing with this terrible game. Some may like it but this is an insult to the original trilogy. I would recommend getting EA access for £20 a year so you can play all of them.
Just finished it. Worth it for this price but agree it isn't a patch on the original. Enjoyable but does feel a bit empty and there isn't as much of a sense of urgency or panic as in the trilogy. I remember the times in the original games literally being anxious in a fight against some of the reapers.
The frame rate is terrible
In Cheltenham too
Well worth a tenner
Probably worth a tenner but ea Access a better deal. As above, not a patch on the trilogy.

Dodgy animations and odd glitch I can live with, but the awful cringeworthy writing and poor plot are what let it down. Now abandoned by the Devs.
How much was the PS4 version?
Didn't realize people on this site were masochists.... look at the heat.
