Use Hola India

Ends 16th June

Conveniently 100 Rupees = 1 GBP

India is cheaper than Mexico for most games apart from those indicated (and BF4/Titanfall)

New: Brazil is cheapest for a few things R$ 3.75 = 1 (so divide by 4 for an estimate) . ive never bought from Brazil Origin myself but guess it should work

If anyone wants to try any other developing/ newly industrialised countries please do

Sim City Plus Edition (Includes City of Tomorrow DLC) £7.50

Prices below are converted from Indian Rupees to GBP and from Indian Origin Store (apart from prices in brackets)

NFS: Hot Pursuit £3.50

Mass Effect £1.50
Mass Effect 2 £2.10
Mass Effect 3 £3 (Same price on UK store)
Mass Effect Trilogy £7.50 (note cheaper £6.60 if you buy them individually)

NOTE: it seems buying the trilogy at £7.50 instead of individually will net you the DLC also so this is the best way forward as it is expensive buying the DLC later on which are never on sale.

Battlefield BC2 Vietnam £1.20

Bulletstorm £2.10
C&C Red Alert 3 £1.50

Download Hola! Extension for Chrome/Firefox. Click the Icon on the toolbar, select India from the menu (or Mexico if your game has a better price there). Add the games to want to your basket, go to checkout. Turn off Hola! Extension, log in to your Origin account and checkout. Make sure your prices are still in Rupees or Mexican Dolllars before you finish checkout.

bc2.....heat!!!!!!

Syndicate for me i think, thanks op.
Edit: I just bought Syndicate and it was the preorder version so I got some unreleased dlc (The Executive Package)

Although it may be slightly cheaper to buy the Mass Effect games separately in this deal, I'm pretty sure you get a few DLC included in the trilogy pack. I bought the Mass Effect trilogy about 3 weeks ago, great games!

Still waiting for sim city to go under £5. Heat!

Don't pick up Sim City...terrible game. Red Alert 3 is pretty meh too and I loved the Red Alert series...

just bought titanfall and pre-ordered sims 4 thanks op

not even released hardware specs for the sims4 out beginning of sept - that normal?

Some awesome prices there, thanks!

Blocked at work so I can't check. Is the Cities of Tomorrow pack for sale on it's own for those that already own Sim City?

Ordered a few bits, thanks OP.

It doesn't seem to use PayPal as a method of paying. If I use my credit/VISA card, is my bank likely to charge me for an international payment?

Where is the option? I'm at the checkout and can only select Credit Card.

Already pre orderd sims 4 with the £25 tesco deal but got a few sims 3 expantions and worlds i was missing, thanks op

Will have to pick up BC2 at this price. Rude not too. Plus Mirror's Edge for 90p is silly, might just have to give it a go. Thanks!

not sure if it does take paypal actually, i read somewhere that Origin Mexico does but Origin India doesn't. Some banks impose a £1 or so charge for international payment. If I remember correctlly, Co-op/Smile and Barclays don't. Natwest Do charge.

Sleeping Dogs and Tomb Raider are Steam.

I assume that means Sims 3 key isn't Steam compatible? A friend of mine has trouble with his Origin copy of Sims 3 somehow..

I've used Hola dozens of times. For some reason I can't keep the games in my basket when I change from Mexico or India back to the UK site. Have they got wise to our hopping? If I return to the MX or IN sites the games are still in my basket all the way through to checkout. When I switch off Hola and open the UK Origin page they've vanished. Is anyone else having problems?

I seem to get card only option at checkout too

Tomb Raider isn't £3 on steam? Or do I have to go through Hola India?

Thanks OP.
I just did this for the first time. Bought The Sims 3 from Mexico as they accept PayPal for this game (a few pence more expensive than India).
This is what I did:

- set Hola! to Mexico or India
- Select the game
- Add to Cart
- Proceed to Checkout
- Now it asks you to sign in with an Order Summary on the right.
- Turn off/disable Hola! Page reloads - ensure order summary is still correct
- Change Language at the bottom of the page if necessary
- sign in and complete checkout

Worked like a charm, thanks OP and others.

Oh okay thank you, last time I brought using a VPN for the Mexican Origin i managed to use PayPal so I don't actually know if the India one uses it.

I keep getting this error code:

Error Code 5601

Yes you have to buy using Hola on Origin India store, using an origin account. It is available in the store but as the game does not activate on Origin it will instead send you a Steam key

ra3 isn't the best of the franchise, but it's probably better than meh

I'm personally on the fence for purchasing SimCity. It's still a tiny city builder, but I want to try the game out. Any reason why you decided to buy it?

i quite liked it when i tried the beta and not many modern city builders going around, Anno, Tropico, Cities XL are rather different. a unique gameplay experience to most other games. id not played the last one, so didn't have expectations of a certain city size tho i agree with those concerns.

tempted by the mass effect trilogy just to enjoy one and two again. Tomb raider is also a steal
