After never playing these I picked 2 and 3 up of eBay, was waiting for Mass Effect to go on sale on it's own but for this price decided to take the plunge and just buy the trilogy to get it. I also used cdkeys 5% code on a £5 PSN card which makes it £6.23 I'm not a cheapskate honest X)

best game series of all time

I've played all of these several times. Voted hot though as you are getting an incredible amount of quality gaming for the price. Highly recommended.

Mass Effect 1 is my personal favourite. Being the first one in the series is obviously not as refined as the others and has some rough edges but it's atmosphere is second to none and why I didn't like the second one as much. I prefer the combat in first one more as it felt unique and the whole game moved along whereas in ME2 they started chasing the Gears/CoD crowd, an no one was happy.
Still replaying through them as we speak and still a great series, just hope they don't screw up Andromeda, as I already don't like the main character(s). #NotMyShepard

good find op, heat added

*Sigh* it's times like this that I wish the PS4 had BC :(.

Just purchased this then realised you can only play them on PS3...

pitty it still doesn't include all the DLC, if they bring out a trillogy which does include all DLC i would get that one, I already have all three on origin with all DLC. But wouldn't mind owning it on PS3 with all DLC aswell. But don't want to have to buy all the DLC again

I actually never played one, played the second one first and loved it. Had a go at ME1 on xbox one and found it hard to get into, mainly due to the combat.

When you go back to ME1 after playing ME2 and ME3, the combat seems terrible, but at the time I loved it.

Personally I prefer ME2 over the others, great story, great DLC, lots of good characters, improved combat over ME1, and a great ending. It's the most well rounded and complete game out of the 3 in my opinion.

Yeah they're a bit like Mario Kart, the first one you play is your favourite. I'm not going to argue that gun combat is better in ME1 cos it just isn't but I played as a biotic and the combination of powers was a lot more fun, as said it felt like you were moving more, you felt like a Jedi. In ME2 most of my best powers just chip enemy shields or armour and you're always behind bloody cover, the combat overall felt like a bad Gears of War knockoff especially at harder difficulties.

Why can't they release these for the PS4

Got physical copy of the trilogy, great game series.

Shame about the DLC - are you missing out on a lot without it?
