Thank you so much! I needed a big one for the family! Lamb stew mmmm!

We have one and yes it is huge, so not practical for smaller servings.

This is a great deal, as a family of five we don't do small servings. Excellent find, thanks

have smaller portions, live a little longer

I actually didn't mean portion size, meant overall quantity as a larger family. And larger not meaning weight wise. So thanks for your pathetic little comment. Maybe try being nice, people will like you

Well it came across as a pathetic little comment didn't mean to upset you either. But I'm not too sure size wise. We have a 4.5 which could be bigger, have never seen one thus big but we always have friends and family over for dinner and I make extra portions for my nan to freeze for her

What has portion size got to do with pot size?
I use a 10 litre pot, strangely enough I don't eat 10 litre meals...

phew, a happy ending all round

Im waiting for the one at £17.99 at Aldi that was on here last week. Heat for the size of this one though.

I prefer the small 8 litre one...........

Lol at the comments. happy Christmas folks

Great thanks

I would purchase one, but already have a 6 litre and a 3 litre. Fantastic for batch baking and freezing.

haha get a room!

hot tesco got a crock pot for 4 £15 if too big

Bigger the better I say get 2 days worth

"3 chickens at once" Being silly aren't they!
Yes it a decent size 6.5 is a family large size this is a bit overkill to be honest unless your giant haystacks or big daddy sized!

Once you have used it, don't forget to store next to your breville sandwich maker and George foreman.

crazylegs

8 litre pot for a family of five definite overkill and you wonder why the … 8 litre pot for a family of five definite overkill and you wonder why the UK is going the same way as USA what with all the super large meals and supersizing everythingThis pot is for families of 8+

Didn't you actually read what I had written!!! I cook all the time for other people and was looking for a bigger one than my current 4.5, for the price this IS cheaper! My family and friends are all happy but most importantly healthy although we all cant be perfect.

Merry Christmas to you, have a wonderful day

I've got one of these, bought it 18 months ago from Amazon. Very pleased with it

How are people unable to understand how to use larger pots? oO
At the risk of pointing out the obvious, you don't actually have to eat it all in one sitting...

I make a huge pot of currys or casseroles with mine, then dish it out into freezer trays. With one session at the weekend I can make enough meals for the whole week for two people, which then only have to be heated up when needed. Usually costs about £15 all in for a kilo of meat, a load of veg and some sauces from Home Bargains, so just over £2 per serving (or £1 per person).
