They seem to be regular in the sheppards bush one so it could just be a trick to get more customers in. But the box sets wasn't bad price to be fair to them
Mr Trotter do you mean Shepherd's Bush?

HMV always has these kind of deals on now, especially on things like heaphones and speakers. I browse my local HMV stores (Newcastle and Metrocentre) quite a bit and am familiar with the prices of CDs in the section that interests me (reggae).I recently went in to the Leeds branch, which had massive signs everywhere saying Store Closing - Everything Must Go, and found that the prices were exactly the same as in my local non-closing branches. I don't think that HMV has specific store-closing deals.
SHEPPARDS
They have similar offers in the Dundee branch, and it isn't closing. Some decent prices on DVDs and BluRays - I'm guessing it's part of the new owners trying to reduce existing stock as the branches are supposed to be allowed to stock more of the type of product that sells well locally.
So what you're saying is... HMV in Shepherd's Bush was open today.
Any cold voters like to explain why ? Not having a pop, just curious

Probably because HMV have a history of being expensive, but to be honest, nowadays I find their High St prices to be similar to somewhere like Amazon. The problem is that they tend to have a more restricted range.
