I have this very BBQ (bought around the same time last year for 60 quid) and now I have experienced its quality I would gladly pay this for it. Very stylish and, crucially, comes with its own (branded) custom cover, which could cost up to 25 quid elsewhere. You really won't get this sort of quality elsewhere for the asking price.

A way to avoid the almost 8 quid delivery charges is to sign up for a month's free trial of Tesco's Delivery Saver service.

Agreed it was cheaper last year (eventually!) like I stated in the OP but kept going OOS as well. If you are patient/prepared to let it go OOS then by all means wait. Incidentally, I would be interested in a gas BBQ for 80 quid that is better. Got a link?

basically got this for free last year if I remember correctly but would happily pay this price

I ordered after seeing it on here but due to a delivery issue I received a large refund, has had an awful lot of use and we haven't touched our larger one since owning this

it's worth £80 all day, looks great, well made and easy to clean / use

Managed to get it for next to nothing last year when reduced to £60 and using clubcard boost. Highly recommend it, looks great and feels really sturdy. Only used it a few times but really impressed.

yep £60 last year and a well made product. Takes an eternity to build it up though!

can you put lava rocks in it? if not surely its just like a gas cooker? i had a plain gas burner one to begin with and wouldnt ever have one again

According to last year's thread, the manufacturers confirmed you could put lava rocks in it but personally I'm not going to. Much of the BBQ taste doesn't come from charcoal/lava rocks but the fat re-igniting on the burners. Certainly we have been very impressed with ours and the taste of the food isn't vastly different to our previous charcoal one. Plus it's just a godsend being able to have an impromptu BBQ whenever the weather allows without all the hassle associated with a charcoal one. I'm not going back now...

Can anyone confirm if this still comes with it's own cover?
The description states that it doesn't come with a cover.
