And you may get your order cancelled, as has happened to a few people on here.

Hi Emma,

Wasn't aware that people had their orders cancelled - I myself have used that code before (for those picnic mat things) without any trouble.

Cheers

Tim

Used and seems to work .....Thanks.

Anyone know where these are made or are they cheapo Chinese stuff that will rust after a few times in the dishwasher?

Purchased one of these sets as a Debenhams bargain a while back, and the knives were so 'blunt' we never actually used them. They were worse than useless, even out of the box I couldn't have cut my finger with them (well, maybe with the serrated bread knife I could). Weight felt good in the hand, looked good, but utterly useless.

Maybe I was supposed to buy them and then sharpen them myself?

Tried and failed......order cancelled by Debenhams, and I didn't get the 20% off either....:-( :-(

Woo! the 2 codes worked for me! I got the set for under £20! :-D

Anyone got theirs yet? Mine was despatched one and a half weeks ago (ordered 2 weeks ago!)

Hi all,

Got mine delivered the other day - going to make very good presents Had a quick shifty at the knives and in my opinion, are really quite sharp! Don't know how long they will hold the sharpness however, but should last years with proper maintenance if you ask me...

Top Treat!

Hi not_the_messiah, when did you order & when did they get delivered? I placed my order on 29th July & it was despatched on 4th August!

Just received mine today, very pleased with the quality, absolute bargain for less than £20 :0

Big thank you to the OP.

When did you order johnny?

We got a similiar set a few months back from Debenhams sale. Ours were by Prestiege (reduced from about £50 to £25 then another 20% off). Not only blunt most of the time (though they did have their own sharpening tool as part of the set:giggle: ) but they also developed rust spots. They look good in the block but that's about it :-(

Isn't it unlucky to give knives as a present to friends :viking: ?
