Seem like most places are selling this around £30 plus quid - I like that it is vertical and has usb sockets - It saves on clutter - unless you're one of those people who buys things because its a deal rather than because you need it ;p

I believe it' actually 8 PLUG SOCKETS (and 2 USB 2 Phone/line/Ethernet)

-12 x Surge protected 13A sockets with three channel protection and safety thermal cut-out

-Two USB charger outputs ideal for use with, iPhone, iPad, iPod, MP3’s, Mobile phones, PDA’s and Digital Cameras

-Includes telecom protection to further protect your equipment from damaging surge or spikes via broadband, ISDN or modem connections

-Power and surge LED indicators

Seems to be a good deal from what I can see, why cold? I ask as am after one

Yeah looks a very good deal to me. Have the 10 ways and they feel very well made compared to the cheaper ones. Not sure what the USB ratings are but mine charge all our phones and tablets AOK

Is there not a limit to the number of electrical items you should have plugged into a single socket?

Well you shouldn't daisy chain extension leads, but aside from that the restriction is on the overall current draw, so as long as the 12 devices (+ 2 USB) don't exceed 13A you are OK. Likewise the overall draw on any ring main shouldn't exceed its rating (30A). This is all from memory so happy to be corrected.
