Prefer the flexibility of these digital timers over the mechanical ones, and this is the cheapest I can find currently.
B&Q had them recently for 2 for £8 but I am not sure if that offer is still on.
Very useful for all sorts of timing requirements around the house and can save you money on your electricity bill by switching electrical items off when you are asleep to reduce standby consumption!

B&Q got 7day electronic ones for £5 but they quite often are on 3for2 offer with other electrics making them £3.333...... each.
Just had a wee look, perhaps this is a newer model and the cheaper price one was old stock!
Who knows stock might be available in the Outer Hebrides store, if such a store exists in the first place.
I'm looking for something to switch my lights on a night.
I need a couple of timers.
Finding a reliable type seems difficult - looking on Amazon, several types seem to have a high proportion of 1* reviews reporting failures.
Could do with a proper brand entering the market. Buy quality buy once.
It would switch on anything you have plugged into it at a time set on it. Soooo if you have a lamp plugged in (and turned on) it would come on at the set time.
NONE in my area:(
Such logic goes too far over the head of some people.
They're quite straightforward and not that difficult to understand how they work, just google them and they will explain it if it's too difficult for you, hope this helps.
Same here.I went in Thursday and paid, but had to go back on Friday to pick it up.They said they had loads at 6.79 and it was advertised in the new flyer as a promotional item? Yet it is cheaper in B&Q, who own screwfix?
That doesn't help. I know how to use the damn things, the question mark was over reliability of the products. If you don't understand the meaning of the word reliability, google the word dictionary and try to use it.
