- The light emitted actually is cool white and not warm white as advertised.
- Also, depending on the location of the socket, if it isn't in a place that gets natural light around it, it wont go off automatically during daylight hours, it has a light sensor in it meaning it will come on naturally as it gets darker in the area rather than during set times. IE, if it is a hallway that has no windows, it will always be lit until the hall 'big light' is switched on etc.
- For £1, who can argue though at that price! ideal for hallways to save putting big lights on if not really needed.

If you move it to a socket where it is slightly lighter during the daytime, it should work fine.
Alternatively, cover the sensor with your finger to see if it works and should come on when your finger covers it.
