Saw this in my local ALDI store for a marked down price of £6.99 which i thought was good as i've seen them elsewhere for near £18, may be nationwide?

I know there is such a thing, they retail at around £25 B&Q & wilko's do it.

Any idea what the output is on the USB charging bit?

It looks like this one over on Amazon for £17.38.

In the Amazon Q&A someone asks about the power output of the USB sockets and gets the following answer:

The USB sockets are only rated at 500mA, so it will charge your tablet … The USB sockets are only rated at 500mA, so it will charge your tablet but only very slowly. Best off sticking with the plug socket adaptor.

Had an email this morning for the 6 socket one at MyMemory and thats £15.99, so unless you really need the extra 2 sockets this is a great price... or buy 2 get 8 sockets in total and still £2.01 less.
Might pop to Aldi later and have a look see if they have any.

Hi Everyone, I looked for this in the Skelmersdale Aldi but unfortunately there were none. They said they were a Summer item and long gone in that store at least. Does anyone live in this area (Wigan, Liverpool, St Helens, Ormskirk, Preston, Southport) and know if there is an Aldi with stock? I asked the store assistant to check for me in store but they wouldn't. I'd appreciate any help as I'd really like to get one of these. Many thanks!

I've also looked in my 3 local stores with no luck, same item goes for around £17 on ebay, so have kinda given up. One thing though is looking at the posted picture it looks like they may be stored in the glass cabinets at the front of the shops and not on shelves.
