These aren't very good with their thermal protection keeps tripping and burning out. Blue ones are far better

The thermal protection is to protect the cable. Blue have the same CSA. There are specs on how much you need to unwind these at specified amps - ie, max 720W fully wound up.

They call it pro but I'm guessing it's 1.25mm standard cable. Isn't it? I have an extension lead with 4mm cable. This is the real pro extension lead

This is perfect. I plan to run it up the street and plug it into the outside socket of my neighbour, then run my oil heaters 24/7. 40meter should do it with spare.
I mean, it involves late nights and early mornings hopping over fences but worth it.
