I know I shared a 10 Socket Tower going for £9.99 at Robert Dyas BUT here for an extra £3 we are getting
* 2 USB ports
* 4 Metre cable (another 2m) on top of everything
* Option to use it as a tower or laid down like in the pic

Keep your devices safe while powering them with the Masterplug SRGU104-MP Surge Protector 10-Socket Extension Cable with USB.

For ease of use, there is a 4 m long cable and the option to connect up to 10 devices at the same time. You can keep your family safe since the extension cable features child resistant shuttered sockets.

Surge protection helps you to protect your electronic equipment from damaging surges and spikes.

In addition to the 10 sockets, there are also two USB 2.0 ports to charge your devices.

Capable of being mounted either vertically or horizontally to meet your requirements, the Masterplug SRGU104-MP Surge Protector 10-Socket Extension Cable with USB is ideal for keeping your valuable devices safe.

what's the point of 10 sockets when you should only be drawing up to 13 amps?

Convenience over safety.

It's irrelevant how many sockets there are. Just depends on the wattage of the appliances you're connecting. As long as what you're connecting doesn't exceed 3000w then you're fine.

Most av equipment won't max out this. Plugging a few toasters and kettles in is another story.

Been using two of the Robert Dyas Version for my pc setup for around 5 - 10 years now - no problems reported.
