Nice, means I can run 3 8 way extensions off a single socket, giving me 24 sockets to plug fan heaters into or just run some more extensions!

I prefer power strips but it's hard to find cheap switched ones with surge protection, so heat from me.
The most recent Amazon reviews are very bad and saying that the good reviews are mostly for the old model.

There are more recent good reviews than bad....
Pity it nearly doubles the price if you are not a Prime member or spending less than £20.
You can find these in Homebase ( 70% off) for about 2.60 , I have one and does the job

Horrible things these, too much weight for the socket that it's plugged into if you have several 'wall warts' power adaptors or heavier cables tugging down. ok for a few light duty items like lamps I guess.

When I used to service electronic items in homes, often a fault was caused due to these things making poor contact with the socket it was plugged into due to excessive loading as mentioned above.

If you can possibly use a 4 way strip instead I'd suggest it's far better albeit slightly less elegant (ish)

Heat from me. I don’t mean to put a dampener on this deal but I had these in my kitchen for years with no problems. Then I got the fire brigade to come around to my house to do a assessment to see if I had the correct fire alarms and they looked around fitted a fire detector and then told me that my three socket plug was a fire risk and that they cause a lot of fires. I was gobbbed smacked. I thought they were safe I just want you guys to know that they may be a risk of fire. Just be careful guys.

Oh dear I’m sorry just seen this message. Yeah they said that if they pull even slightly out the wall a but they they can catch fire. Once they said they are a main fire risk I thought bucket for these because I’m disabled so I cannot get out as easily as others.

Just glad you found this post. I was really shocked to find out. They were doing a fire cheak in the house and fitting alarms because I had a stroke and one of them noticed that I had a multi socket in the kitchen. Take care x
