Had one of these for a couple of years or more -- absolutely brill

paid £9.99 for mine in a bargain bin in B&Q

What does it actually do? I followed the link but it's unclear. Or maybe I'm just stupid...

It stops you crawling around the back of your pc to plug in a usb device or a headphone cable

me too, (for RRP £49.99!!)

Not in stock locally - damn shame.
Good luck to others

Just managed to pick up the last one local to me. Looks good value for the money although Im not sure I would have paid £50 for it originally!

anyone looking for cheap USB chargers through a mains socket....you can pick 'em up from Maplin for £7.99 (Half Price)

just picked one up from telford looks good but i could not find them in the catalogue

Looks like it can be screwed on to a table or worktop as well. (Not clear from earlier pic.).

Currently in stock at Hereford if that's of interest to anyone!

Reserved
I've been needing an RJ45 cable anyway, the unit includes the item. Well worth it as a good USB2 hub all on it's own.

Superb find.
Two reserved at Wakefield

Only store I can find in London that has stock is Lewisham.

just reserved one..ta

Why dont you just put your PC base unit on your desk or under your monitor so you dont have to crawl around to find the free ports?

We have two desks next to each other, with three computers between them.

Where would we find the room to put all three on the top of the desks, rather than the designated spaces below?

cheers for the find, reserved for pickup today in Witney in Oxfordshire, so there is still stock out there!

Im sure I saw these for £12 in B&Q. Could be mistaken.

got mine, all set up and working.

quick question - as i have a router with built in adsl modem, i have the standard rj11 phoneline running to the router, and then an rj45 network cable going to both my laptop and my PS3, should i be surge protecting the rj11 or rj45 line??

its not bad but on the dells on the front has two usb ports and the headphone socket, the rj45 and rj11 i hardly remove.

So you guys are all amazed by £15 for a 4 port USB powered hub with surge protected network ports and a headphone socket?

Looks to me like it's just another pointless box for guys to play with ....

They're only £10 in-store at B&Q. Check store availability online ]http//ww…rue:thumbsup:

Now £12.49 at Argos. Stock in Ashford, Kent at least ;-)

I saw one of these in the fareham B&Q reduced from £40 to £5, but i just don't need one and would have been a fiver wasted.
May still be there.....

i finally managed to track one down - it really is a nice little unit.
now i just need to find three more...

tracked one down too. excellent price for only £12.49. Now I can have it like in the office ... easy to connect plugs etc
voted HAWT

what is this for?

I got one from B&Q for a tenner but returned it as I didn't release it had to clamp onto the desk, which is of no use to me.

Reserved one in the Flint "extra" store.

Thanks, I was looking for additional USB points for my laptop.

Picked it up today. It's rather nifty. Thanks.

Hi,just picked one of these up,because it was only £5 in the bargain bins near counters.Other stuff like TV boosters for around £10.

Cheers BOB

ps looks like you could remove clamps to bolt to desk if you wanted to.Just screw them off by the looks(2 screws for each clamp holding them on to base of unit).
If you buy more than one, they interlock together.
