Matalan Mens Jeans down to 98p

Just been into Matalan in Basildon and got 2 pairs of Jeans for just 98p each. They did have about 20 on the rail, but the women behind me picked up the rest of them. However, was speaking to one of the staff who said that they are restocking these daily to clear the lines and that it is nationwide. Also doing T-shirts and womens clothes for 98p. Only instore unfortunately.

Yeah. Got there at about 10. Just as the shop was opening. Ironically i was only looking for kids bedding that was posted here yesterday.

i work in matalan and i can confirm these prices are TRUE also look out for children pimsoles.... there reduced from £2 or £5 ( depends on side) but there reduced to 17p thats right 17p!!!!

Plimsolls at 17p! This is because health and safety have decided that trainers are better for PE lessons now and plimsolls are now defunct. Well they are at my daughters primary school so I'm assuming it's now a nationwide thing too as it was government advised in September.

Any more Matalan bargains people as wondering if worth a look tomorrow?

heat added even though i dont have a man lol

I brought a pair of these Jeans on the 27th December, I was charged 98p when the lady added the code from the jean tag. I thought at that time a mistake was made so I kept my mouth shut

Nice to know the government are really tackling the gritty, core issues facing modern society lol :-D
i hated Plimsolls at school, glad to see they are finally gone!!

wow.. my dd needs a new pair.. will definately be popping in tomorrow... thanks for that

Got these yesterday for £7.50 from Sheffield!!!!!!!!

This is a problem I have found with Matalan.......no consistency with nationwide campaigns.....hence pricing of these bargains is very random & you get them if your local store is on the ball !!!! The store in Gt. Yarmouth tends to be very vague with bargain prices and I'm afraid not on the ball at all, so you end up feeling fed up with the higher price being charged when you know it should be marked down to the bargain price. No point challenging the staff as they are trained to say NO!

Probably computer says "NO" or the staff are just too fed up with dirt cheap prices like this they could be bothered just after the holiday season.

As for people buying them in bulk just to make extra money on eBay is self-centered, selfish & pure greed. What happen to live by what you can afford or need. The lady in question just might as well buy the whole stock in the store & send all the gear to charities in 3rd world countries & not giving everyone the change to buy them. Talk about the current climate of the credit crunch for developed countries like the UK but what about 3rd world countries. What leaves the average Mr Jones to buy in Matalan, NOTHING because of one lady who decides to buy 18 pairs of pure greed. Nobody can sniff at 18 pairs as it is not buying 2, 3 or 4 pairs.

OP quite clearly wrote womEn not womAn.

hey, went in yesterday in blackburn to buy socks for the kids for school, there were rails and rails of cloths for 98p, including shirts, trousers, bathrobes, you name it everything for women, men, kids. only had to search for right size. this worked out good for me as i needed i new wardrobe too, picked lots of items, anway there were no socks size that i went for (lol).

3 hours later I was in Leicester and as Matalan was on the way to home, i quickly stopped for my socks again, got my socks, but there was half a rail of 98p items and same items that i had picked up from Blackburn were £4 or £5 (which is also cheap, but 98p is a bargain). I confirmed this by taking the same item to the till.

I guess each town have different prices.. had i first gone to the Leicester one i would still have picked them for £5...

Popped in my local one about an hour ago, nothing at this price sadly, the reduced jeans (50% off) were still @ £7.50

H went to the local one in Belfast and yes got jeans for 98p! One pair wasn't priced at 98p but checked at the till and they were reduced. Look out for the highlighted barcodes on them.

for me i find that statement can apply for so many stores. just copy and paste the stores name TBH. I normally say its the curse of the black hole effect Grimsby has, it seems that were not the only ones  .

No 98p jeans up in Grimsby.

i went and they didnt have anything marked so its a case of pick stuff up and take it to till and you just may get lucky and find something for 98p!! i didnt but some1 next to me in the queue got bedding and a coat for 98p.....hot if you got the time to go bak and for to the till to check prices

bargain. but tomorrow at sports direct.com the red away england shirt has 90% off it, jnrs will ne £3.49 and snr £4.49, bargain. goood find the matalan bargains, heat added.
