You actually get a choice too of

Watch
Tablet
Freebuds

Might want to add that to the deal title and it will go hot.

Also add to the laptop category

Matebook
Ah yes! I do enjoy using my Matebook! Sometimes I decide to take a break and enjoy at Kat Kit or occasionally a Twax!

oh yea, it is according to the specs sheet

Just checked the Ark for the i5 and it does indeed support LPDDR3! What a strange design choice
I've gone for the i7, superior in most ways (definitely got what I need it for) to last year's 'x pro' model and with the added bonus of the pretty generous freebies! Can't wait, been messed around buying another machine so got my refund and told them where to go!

I went for the i7 as well for the touchscreen, thinking if to wait till september to buy and hopefully the price would drop and with goodies and have AMD 4000, cause i need it for september

I'd bought a manufacturer refurbished 2019 X Pro but they were dragging their feet to get out of the sale - the RRP on that is around £1450 which ain't too far from today's going rate - other than the fancy pop up camera, the extreme screen res and a bit of a difference in screen to body ratio, this year's Matebook 13 is better in almost every way, with a bag, wireless mouse & 10" tab (I'll use it for magazines & retro emulators) for £350 less!

My current 'travel laptop' is the 2019 Matebook D14 (AMD), only bought for writing on the go but I'm so impressed with the build & performance I'm sticking with Huawei for this upgrade...

Hope you enjoy your new laptop too bud!

Matebook

Is the joke that there's another laptop on the market called a 'macbook' that's £200 more expensive for a year-old refurb with an 8th generation processor?

I think so.
Seems like some people cant get past the marketing...
Admittedly i wouldnt have chosen the name of 'matebook' myself, however it doesnt detract from the product.
I have a Matebook D (original Ryzen mobile processor) on a punt, and couldnt be happier with the build quality. Once they make a Ryzen 4000-series version of that, i'll upgrade, without hesitation.

Wouldn't the inspiron touch screen be a better deal?
I don;t suppose there's any discount codes or cashback for Huawei? Couldn't find any having had an initial scan
Decent find however I personally had a really bad experience with Huaweis' customer support/ technical team so will never use any of their products again.

well for 1 i think their CS do not know what they are talking about when they are giving advice, and their update just sucks.

I think it’s more subjective, both have benefits, personally I prefer the Matebook deal, especially with the free watch as an added extra.

I totally agree. I had a P20 Pro for 5 months, 3 of which the handset was with their technical team. In the end they sent me a replacement handset, however it was an European model. Wrong plug, wrong firmware etc. I gave up after that and switched to Samsung. The funny thing was I called them on the day my replacement arrived (before it was delivered) and they didn’t even know they were sending a replacement - useless.
