For those of you with a breadmaker this makes a delicious loaf of crunch malty bread. Or those who enjoy all that manual kneading. If you have another 4 s&s items then only 4.84 for 7.5kg. Unfortunately I still have some left from last month so shall have to omit it this month. However 4 of us did just polish off an entire loaf at lunchtime.

Great price. Has some great reviews. Ordered to try out compared to usual Dove Mills flour.

Simon?
I bought some of this the other day and it makes a lovely loaf. It is indeed an add-on item.

So, down to £4.33 if you qualify.
Anyone got a decent recipe ? I use a Panasonic machine. Using just this flour does give quite a dense loaf

As a general rule, I've found that making a loose, wet mix with this flour (or any other wholemeal flour), rather than dough, yields great results.

I have had really good results using this flour but would normally mix it with strong white flower, normally half each. You still get the malty flavour but in a lighter loaf.

I've got a Panasonic too and get really good results using 1 part white to 3 parts this flour, and use french setting. It takes six hours but I always set it the night before.
33060286.jpgI used 400 g flour in total for this loaf,no sugar, tsp salt,tsb oil,300 g water,and half a teaspoon dried yeast.
