Not a deal really, as they've been selling Extra Mature one for the same price (and even for £3.99 sometimes). However, personally I belong to the minority preferring mature or even mild cheddar and I was glad to find it today in my local shop (never seen it before).
It's worth saying that Aldi's price is £4.43/kg

i picked up some of this the other day in grated it didnt melt right on cheese on toast

Love farm foods but this cheese isnt that good
may be better in sarnies
I don't rate this cheese either. Bought to try when it was on offer, and was quickly gutted to find we had a kilo of the stuff to get through.
Much, much prefer Asda's own extra mature at £4.87/kg

+1 on that cheese!

This is brilliant value and fab, in sarnies with some piccililly, chutney etc, but for some reason, when ever you use it or have it hot, it just tastes a bit bland and watery for some reason, I am not sure if farm foods cheese is actually frozen to dispatch, as this would explain why there is so much condensation in it, or it could be the naff packaging they use, making it sweat maybe!
Got this last week and it is not a nice cheese at all. AVOID!
