3-axis stabilised 2.7k camera

Mavic Mini captures 12MP aerial photos and 2.7K Quad HD video. Its 3-axis motorised gimbal ensures fantastic camera stability for ultra-smooth shots. It retains the Quickshot flight modes from the larger drones, for elaborate shots at the tap of a button.

With downward facing vision position sensors and optional propeller guards, you can fly inside with controlled confidence. Outdoors the GPS receiver allows for precise hovering with CineSmooth mode assisting stability in narrow or complex spaces.

DJI Fly : New smartphone application

This new app empowers new pilots to fly safely, capturing incredible photos and videos with little to no flying experience. Utilising creator templates, awesome videos can be generated from one tap. A modern smartphone will be required for use.

Compact folding design

Measuring just 140 x 82 x 57 mm, the folded drone is small enough to put in a pocket! Unfolded with the propellers deployed it expands to 245 x 290 x 55 mm.

The standard combo includes the aircraft, gimbal protector, intelligent flight battery, remote controller, micro usb cable, lightning/micro-USB/USB-c controller cables, 6 spare screws, a screwdriver a pair of spare propellers and a pair of spare control sticks.

The drone is normally £369 and not £399, isn’t it?
Every time a deal comes up for a drone, I think about them

For people that have them how often do you really use them, and are they really as smooth and easy to use as the videos make you believe ?? (especially the smaller ones)

I picked up the Fly More combo from an Apple Store a few weeks ago, and when I have had time to fly it, it's a great beginner drone, having never flown one before I actually feel comfortable just learning how to use it and the video quality is perfect for an amateur. At the end of the day the people moaning about it not having 4k etc can stick to the higher end ones that cost 2x/3x the cost of this and let others just enjoy getting into a nice hobby.
Ps, seller has overpriced this item so I wouldn't buy it here out of principal.

I've got a DJI spark. And they are a doddle to fly. Rock steady in the air, even if it's windy. Takes some practice to take videos and photos that you are proud of, but great fun.

I’ve got an Air, super easy and fun to fly. I’ve had it since September but to be honest, I rarely get any flight time. I haven’t flown it since October I don’t think. Partially because of the weather being so bad and partially because I need to find more places to fly it. My only concern with this one is it’s very light so might not be too good in wind, it was quite windy when I flew my air and the footage was completely stable but you can see it trying very hard to fight the wind to stay as stable as possible. It’s fun when you actually have time/suitable conditions to fly it, but it tends to spend a lot of time in its case, especially at this time of year.

Check out some of the reviews on YouTube. Everyone who's reviewed it are suprised how well it handles the wind. All the reviews are 5 star. Very little negatives to be said about it apart from when comparing it to a £1500 one. Seems like this little one is a game changer.

In that case, it’s definitely worth a buy, especially at this price, though personally I’d go with the fly more package as you will definitely want the extra batteries. If I didn’t buy my air, I’d have definitely picked one of these up. If this had the obstacle sensors and the camera capability of the air I’d sell my air for this, this is a brilliant starter drone for a brilliant price.

When I first got into the hobby it was fun and I was flying them locally a lot. Now I hardly get any flight time. Don’t really like visiting the same spots over and over. Recently I’ve just been flying it on weekend breaks every 2/3month.

Something like the mini is good as it’s small and can be flown indoors and in the garden.

They’re all super easy to fly.

It’s a good deal no doubt but the point I’m trying to make is that the RRP for the item has always been £369. So it’s not a £75 saving, rather a £45 saving.

Gosh. Seems it’s quite difficult for you to understand. The price field is corrected by HUKD. The site you’re buying from is misleading the customer. Hope you’ve finally understood.

There's no correction to make - nowhere does the description say '£75 saving', it says £75 off £399. If I'm being misled into saving 12% off RRP then I'm perfectly happy to be misled.

Only if you fly it in the airport . Should be OK in most places, always worth checking their rules.

Because it’s 249g a tourist could use it in Canada without registering. If it was over 250g you’d need to register and be a citizen.
Feel obliged to mention that recent rules introduced by CAA mean any drone heavier by even 1 gram than this one will need to be registered with them, you will need to pay an annual fee (£6 I think) and pass a competency test. Using drones weighing 250g or more without doing these 2 things is now illegal. But the Mavic Mini is made specifically to be under the limit.

I flew mine all over the lake district in summer (when it wasn't raining. Weather has been abysmal since and now you have to be licensed so I can't fly it at all without risking a fine.
no collision sensors, only 2.7K at 30fps, so what use would this have? crappy pictures?
