Not great value on its own due to P&P £2.49 but can't go wrong if you're ordering from UKDVDR anyway.

£3.50 for a 1GB USB drive? not such a good deal. If it was an instore it would be hot.

Yes, that's what I said, add it to another bigger purchase if you're buying from there anyway!

I spent £999 on a PC in 1996 that had a 1 Gig hard drive....

my first pc was in 92' costing £2,200 and came with a 210mb hard drive :-) I think the beast was packing 8mb of RAM!!

Good for an extra item if your buying something good. so voted HOT

I think its quite amazing how computers have come down in price through the last 20 years, its quite astounding to think that you pay as much as a car for a computer that is not less powerful than a childs leapster lol

Nostalgic. My first pc was in the late 80's. A philips 286 with 768kb RAM, 40 mb HDD, CGA graphichs (if anyone still knows what that is) and lightning speed of 10Mhz.. And it cost 330.000.000 (million) in portuguese money about £1200 at the time I think.

Ahh... Those were the days...

Its a shame it only 1 per order!!

I remember them getting a 20MB hard disc unit to add to our 5 1/4 floppy based machine at work. We all thought that it was far too big and we'd never fill it. It cost £5,000 (£250,000 a GB), the equivalent today would cost 2p. How times change!

These things are horrible, not even worth a quid. They take up two drive letters and you have to run some software off the first virtual drive to unlock the second one. This is just about possible (although tedious) on a PC but you can't use the flash drive AT ALL on other devices for example a DVD player.

Maxell tech support were not interested when I contacted them "that's the way it works Sir."

Really ultrak3wl? Did you try reformatting the drive?

£3.50 for 1GB stick including P&P? the price is misleading. voted cold from me. Here is another deal just posted. £1.99 for 1GB USB flash delivered.

Had a Maxell drive until last week - my data continually became corrupted. Took it back to Argos with receipt and exchanged it for a Sandisk Titanium for a quid more. Maxell are rubbish quality, dont put anything important on your drive unless you have copies elsewhere.

The shipping cost for this one is £4.39 which makes it ( £0.75 + £4.39 shipping) £5.14. too much for 1GB memory stick
