Haven't found cheaper - perhaps this will prompt a hunt at the better price we have seen before at around the 10p mark.

always use fresh tomatoes!

or 5 for £1 in b and m

Just open the can and you will find out why it is just 20p - I got them once and never again, any other brand is 10 times better

Plenty in stock in Bristol Brislington store today.

Don't get me wrong 20p is a great price but for me personally I'd prefer to stump up the extra 60p and crush some fresh local produce then put this concoction of added flavours and all round garbage into my body.

You cant beat the maxi

Not the best tomatoes, pretty pale and not a lot of taste.!

even tescos own are ok.. but not this .. With fresh tomatoes I find they don't give the curry bright colour... I would say any supermarket own are fine. I use sainsbury's

Brought some KTC brand ones 24 for £6.50

The best I've found are the standard ones at Aldi (not their uber cheap range). They aren't watery and are permanently a good price.

where you getting fresh local tomatoes in january?

These aren't terrible (I've bought quite a few to stock up) but they're not plum tomatoes and therefore a bit watery and not as flavourful. Still makes a decent tomato sauce! Yes you could always spend a bit more but the whole point of this site is bargain hunting, especially for those of us on a tight budget.

you can't beat napolina tinned tomatoes and after my 60 free cans from Sainsburys last week guess iv got enuff !!!

Very poor quality.
To much skin and core.
Made/canned in Greece I believe?
