Best car seat out there! My sons just moved up a stage and I sold this same seat used for almost this cost...was £200 when I bought it new. Great price

Good luck waiting for the best car seat on the market for under £90. Dont worry, your childs safety isnt that important.

Great, been looking to get one of these for ages and couldn't get under £150.. brilliant.

No offence but this is not the safest car seat on the market. It just rotates 90 degrees for ease of getting your kid in and out. So it's easier to use than most others for parents but as it is forward facing it is not *safer* than a rear facing seat.

You can pick up a rear facing car seat for the same age range as this seat for £40... so not such a hot deal IMO.

Just bought one, already have one for my elder child, and it really helps my back when putting her in! Its a fab seat so I bought another ready for when my son moves from his infant carrier!

link to the rear facing car seat for 40 quid please?

Brilliant car seat, just bought two... If you are happy to entrust your childs safety to a £40 seat, then you are braver than me... Forward facing seats are much better for a child development, and much better at getting kids used to travelling in the car.

rear facing seats are the safest seats for anybody not just kids but there is only one problem - no one likes to sit rear facing

can i query why/how they're better for child development? or getting them used to travelling in the car?

Bought this about two months ago on similar deal - it's amazing!! I also bought a more basic maxi cosi for husbands car, but definitely prefer this one.

Thanks ordered.

£10 off code worked for me as a new user. Hopefully 6% TCB as well.

Still waiting for this mythical £40 rear facing seat....

I think drJon means socially, facing and being able to see others would benefit social interaction and skills?

I don't understand how you get children to sit in a rear facing seat. My son is 19 months old, tiny, and if he sat rear facing his legs would get crushed. Is there a seat design I haven't seen? I just don't get it.

Do you or any adult sit backwards in a car seat? Can you interact with the back of a seat? Not last time i looked...

Mythical my ****.

Add some other stuff to your basket to make it £50. Use code TDX-9KJ6 at checkout and it'll take off £10. You have a rear facing car seat for 0-4 years (same as this seat) plus £5.75 of groceries for £40.

Most forward facing children are also looking at the back of a seat!

Some seats can rear face up to 25kg, which could be about 6 years old! The kids just seem to cross their legs, put them up the back of the seat or dangle them either side.
Not sure if this will work or not: bebemarket.bg/upl…peg

Ahh I see. Only works in HUGE cars then. I'd like to see someone trying to fit that seat, let alone a 6 year old, in the back of a Ford KA.

ours fit fine in our Golf and Focus, but yeah, a Ka would kind of limit you in your choice of seats!

Rear facing is 5 times safer for the first 4 years.

There are carseats out there that seat a child comfortably.

Both my children are still rear-facing, daughter is 3.5 years, and son is 18 months.

How do they sit? Do their legs not get crushed against the back seat? No, the Maxi Cosi Mobi is anchored to the back of the front passenger seat, so the seat is sitting closer to the edge of the back seat and there is plenty of room. The Mobi will keep my daughter comfortably rear-facing til around age 5 or 6, max weight 25kg.

My car is an Astra so no need for a big car. As with a lot of rear-facing seats they do get tethered to the back of the front passenger seat so they may not leave a huge amount of room for a tall front passenger!! But they will fit in any small car.

The £40 seat mentioned above is only rear-facing til 10kg (around 1 year), so it cannot be compared to this seat as this seat is made for kids 9 months+

Oh, and I dont think its a good buy at all, you can get an extended rear-facing carseat for £200ish, and if thats too much then the First Class Plus rear-faces to 13kg, then forward faces, and you can normally get it for under £100.
