hot. Just got it on Prime for Sunday delivery. Shame the red one was about £30 more but its only a colour I suppose, so im happy wit the deal

Why would you go for Pebble if it comes out worse in the crash tests and its more expensive?

Change to argos, now expired on amazon

5 left on Amazon

For anyone who doesn't get this, I saw several being reduced down in John Lewis to just £60 right before they closed on Xmas eve.

A great car seat for a baby. We did loads of research when our little one was born. Never regretted buying this seat. The Tobi is lovely for when they grow up too

That's hot!!!

It is more expensive, but the Pebble has a high safety rating according to the manufacturers website.

If by higher safety rating you are talking about the ambiguous 'maxi-cosi self appointed rating' of 'TOP' and 'HIGH' then yes it does... however I believe I read somewhere that the Cabriofix came out above the Pebble when tested independently (WHICH? maybe?).

The text and star rating of the which reviews make the CabrioFix seem better, but if you watch the video reviews the Pebble is much better in a side impact

To be honest though, the reason I chose the Cabriofix over the Pebble was the fact that I intend to use a base but want the option of securing the base with eith ISOFix OR seat belt as one of our vehilcle is not ISOFix compatible... I don't believe the Pebble is compatible with a base that offers both fixing options.

All independent test came out better on the Cabriofix including ADAC, OEAMTC, AA and ANWB.
I guess MC had to justify the increased price

Ps. Now red at 67.50

I can still cancel it but the red ones price drop has been missed by me so back to £100. Damn! The black is also now £100 too.

Oh well i can live with black version for £67. Wife though is making it out like its then end of the world as it wont co-ordinate with her Bugaboo (also a HUKD yesterday from JL so im happy with the savings over the last few days).

Yeah - never mind the safety, the colours don't match!!!

If you are getting a bugaboo the car seat has to match. Best pram ever!

There is an upcoming deal on this Red one (Pebble) but it wont be as cheap as 67 quid I think.

Just short of 2hrs till the deal.

Price has gone up - but bought today in John Lewis (Sheffield) at this price.

oeamtc.at/por…760
Cabriofix + Family Fix (not the best base for it)

oeamtc.at/por…758
Pebble + Family Fix

Based on the above they are pretty even so main factor for me is the price, but this website (link) seem to summarise all tests and Cabriofix looks better..

I wanted to get the Britax Babysafe Plus SHRII but we can't get adaptors for our buggy (Uppababy Vista) and we are stuck with Maxi Cosi...

Ps. Cabriofix has been a long term test seat for NCAP as it was their best of best benchmark reference seat. I think they've changed to something else recently).
