This is purely for nostalgia!

Maxibon's have made a return to the U.K. and are now available at Esso garage stations

Hopefully they'll be made available at supermarkets soon!

I have no idea what these are, so I presume they havent been around for >30 years?
never heard of them either, maybe this should be in 'misc' instead of deals.

I'm 20 and remember having them as a child
I don't remember these but they look good though. Will keep a look out
Haven't seen these in ages. Will have a look when i pass an esso. Used to love these. Thanks
They are amazing!!!!!
always have a maxibon when i go to spain, yummy! However until i see these in multipacks i refuse to pay £1.69 for an ice cream.
These are always knocking about in my local Heron, its £1 for a pack of three.

You would think the price would be a lot lower if it's over 30 years past it's sell by date.
I love Maxibon but I don't think any of the supermarkets sell them any more. :(. Asda did sell them up until a year or two ago.
swear these have got smaller.. but maybs im just bigger
JESUS CHRIST I WANT ONE!
Yum :¬}

JESUS CHRIST I WANT ONE!

You speak to your lord and ask for an ice cream?
They are wonderful, a real BIG ice cream treat!
Maxibon taste different to last year as Nestle have added cookies to the creamy side of the ice cream bar.

Mine too, when they were being discontinued & Heron bought up the stock cheap.

Bet you've not seen any in there in the last 6-9 months.
My all time favourite!!!! Absolutely amazing treat!
Love these, you can get them on every street corner in Barcelona but I haven't seen them in Tesco or Asda for a few years. A friend said that some of the discount freezer shops and Aldi sometimes stock them in the multi packs for £1 so if your a fan I would say to try there rather then paying £1.69 a pop!
Made the pilgrimage to my local Esso a few nights back. It had a picture of one at the top of the Ice cream freezer but none in there. So close...

Craig, I feel your pain! You'll get one eventually
I hope this is cold only for the reason that we don't want these to melt!
One of the best ice creams ever, and SO BLOODY HARD TO FIND!
Tried a few Esso stations, but won't give up
Guys. I just picked one up from my Smiths at the Cambridge train station. Looks like WHSmiths might do them too.

Found some at my local corner shop!!!
Okay... the search for Maxibons continued when I was down south in London visiting family...! I feel like a Maxibon geek here!

Well, I got my first Maxibon in years at an Esso station somewhere between London and Eastbourne. And it was a Maxibon Cookie, for about £1.69.

Maxibon Cookie seems to be new over here, with chocolate chips in the ice cream and the spongy part of the sandwich replaced with a cookie like sandwich.
Basically, it was really, really good!

On the way back up from London I found the same ones again in a service station WHSmiths (confirming craigjamieson's find!) for £1.99... Woohoo.

But, when I checked an Esso up here in Glasgow today, no Maxibons, nada!
Will try WHSmiths on Argyle Street or Central Station soon but seriously, why none in Scotland (so far)?!

Where can I get one now!!!
Seconded. Had one (ahem) in Italy and want more note I'm home.
Dont do it guys. It's a trap! They completely changed the recipe and it tastes like rotten dreams!!
