Maximuscle Salted Caramel Promax Lean bars currently 49p each or £5.88 per box in Home Bargains. Currently £19 a box on Amazon.

Not as nice a bar as PhD Smart bars or Grenade Carb Killa's but a good price for a reasonably tasting bar IMO.

I know that there are other sources to get protein from before the baked bean and can of tuna gang come at me.....

I like these more than Grenade Carb Killas but they’re a bit chewy. PhD Smart Bars are nice. In general though - that you can gorge yourself on chocolate and still lose weight - oh what a time to be alive!

They were in my local store (Southend) I haven't checked on-line so maybe a local deal instead of national

PhD products are real nice. Tried a few of their products! The downside is they’re really expensive (normally)

Ye they have been £10 before for a box of 12 on Amazon but that doesn't come often

Smart often do this as a bundle but with the PhD bars instead for around £29.99 so just a case of looking out for it

Are they calorie free? Because last time I checked they have roughly the same amount of calories as a normal chocolate bar.

I know they have more protein. But a calorie deficit is what's needed to lose weight not because something has less sugar and more protein.

Tell that to Dr Atkins

You still need a calorie deficit on a Atkins diet
