I've been looking for an external hard drive and found this one and £39.98 seems like a good price. I know that higher capacity ones (2tb plus) are better value per tb, but obviously cost more to begin with. I'm not looking to spend too much as my laptop (500gb) is running out of space and is also getting on a bit now and will need replacing soon, however, this seems the cheapest way to prolong it's life for the time being. I've been looking at this one too, Seagate Expansion 1tb @ £49.99
but it's not come down in price.

Possibly, though for the best experience you’d want a USB stick instead of a HDD.

Like you say the 2tb version is only £23 more. That’s also very good

Wonder if it works on a ps4

If it's 3.0 it will.

I have the same one for Xbox one

It's worth noting this drive comes with a three year manufacturers warranty. Most other manufacturers seem to offer 1 or 2 years max. I bought this to expand storage on my Xbox One (for £45) and it has been great so far.
