Ordered for my BMW and thought this is a really good deal. Not sure when will be delivered though.

  • Unique asymmetrical tread design combined with an Advanced silica rich compound deliver an outstanding ultra high performance summer tyre with enhanced wet and dry grip.
  • Continuous outside reinforced shoulder enhances cornering stability and reduces noise Level.
  • Optimised tread design with an enhanced casing construction gives Great handling and a quiet, comfortable ride.

The price is even lower now. I canceled my last order and placed a new one.

There's quite a few mate

I've had several and none were this small.

Guess maybe a basic 1 series? The old BMW's weren't on runflats.

Gumtree search ‘BMW’. You’ll find hundreds running on 17s. Standard option over the stock 16s offered for several years.

Take the wheel off, remove the old tyre using a junior hacksaw. Pick up the new tyre and, holding it to your shoulder and with the hole facing the wheel, run at full force towards it. There’s a knack to it, but a few attempts and the tyre will pop straight on.

You can put a run flat tyre on any car you want it's just an optional thing when you buy tyres.
It doesn't mean at all that your previous or original tyres has to be run flat mate.

Not true, it's illegal to fit runflats on a vehicle not equipped with Deflation Detection or Tyre Pressure Monitoring System. The vehicle must have either of these fitted.

Not only is it illegal it would be the height of stupidity as run flats give no warning they are flat until they suddenly start shredding!

Warning lights are absolutely essential as you can't drive a flat runflat for long......

Huge false economy to buy tyres like these. They're the difference between crashing in the wet and staying safe.

100% correct.

From the National, Halfords etc websites:

"Can you fit run flat tyres to a car not designed for them?
No - run flat tyres should only be fitted for cars specifically equipped for them. This is because the car will not have TPMS installed and consequently the driver will have no idea if a puncture occurs. This is very dangerous and could cause a serious accident."

"Tyre Pressure Monitoring System
Run flats must only be installed on a car which has TPMS/tyre pressure monitoring system. TPMS alerts the driver to a puncture so they are aware that they have a limited time to replace their tyre, and so they drive within the limits of their deflated tyre (see our section on tyre-pressure for more detail)"

Still waiting for my order to be dispatched. May this is the reason why this deal is so cold?
