Just been browsing for a lease deal and found this on Leasing.com.
Mazda 6 2.0 SE-L Nav+ auto for £244 a month.

I thought it was a pretty decent deal with the mileage of 15k included for a fairly well regarded car that comes with a decent amount of kit in this variant.

Who on earth is going to lease a car whilst we are on lockdown??

How about the millions still working every day as usual

You are paying 33% of the car value in 3 years at 15k miles or 11% per year or the same as a 0% loan over 9 years. I'd expect the car to loose more than 33% over 3 years. Heat added.

Very high mileage allowance and good price over 3 years too, hot from me!

Think of it as having a £45k allowance in year 3, great for sales reps!

Good deal, might even bite if it was the diesel estate version.

What would you suggest I do when my lease expires and I still need to travel to the shops, pharmacy and occasionally to work - all of which are a couple of miles away?
1 month down, 3 years, 10k miles pa is £214. HEAT

Cheap deal for descent miles. Hope this is a sign of the good deals to come!

Although service every 12500miles/year would mean definitely 3 services over this term.
nice affordable deal to those whose car lease are expiring and those who are looking! great post op
Out of intrest... if there was a mechanical fault with this car with the 3 years who would be responsible? Would there be a warranty with the car like most new vechile?
cracking offer Wish this had been around last year when I was looking
Mazdas typically have very few additional extras so are pretty well specced
Good deal that is,Also £180 pm for 8k which would probably be enough for most.
With a lot of these deals it’s worth doing the sums to see if it’s better value to go lower in the mileage even if it means possibly paying a few miles excess at the end of the lease

In stock too which is a massive plus as you could be waiting a very long time for a car that’s not already built.

Nice to see a decent deal with a higher than average mileage which a lot of us do.

Hi ####,

I hope you and family are doing well in these odd days we're in!

Thanks for reaching out, this deal is for limited stock on pre-registered cars (69 plated). We have just sold out of our last Auto model, but have manual available in Soul Red at a cheaper rental should you be interested.

The cars are ready for delivery once the lockdown restrictions are lifted (or prior if we can facilitate), we'll work with you on when you need the car and delivery is included in the cost.

We've had quite a bit of interest in this deal over the past few days and are down to our last few cars, if you're interested in proceeding you should head over to our website (www.zen.auto/register) and create an account, we can then save the quote for you and proceed to order.

As you can see we are waivering our usually charged £199 processing fee on this deal, if you're interested please let me know and we'll go from there!

Many thanks

Tom

Good lease deals are getting rarer, so heat from me
Decent deal and not much more than I'm currently paying for a Mazda 3 fastback at only 8000 miles.

If you are working every day as usual then you aren't taking covid 19 seriously

Yea, aeroplanes do that, But I think your comment crashed and burned
Anybody come across any great new car purchase deals out there?
They must've come down to a more realistic price by now, with the current climate in the car market.
Looks a great deal at 15k p.a.
Amazingly slow for a 2 litre petrol.
I owe 2.2 diesel model from 2013 and 150bhp very good acceleration and fuel consumption. U Can get up to 50miles per gallon if u drive very economically shift gears around 1800 rpm

Pretty average performance really, don't see the issue. Skyactiv engines are not built for ultimate output, they are engineered for efficiency. The displacement is deceptive in this way but it doesn't mean you have a big road tax bill. I would say this Mazda is one of the best saloons on sale, in an era where saloons are basically at the bottom of a steep decline in popularity.

Everybody would rather buy a jumped up jiggly hatchback on stilts than a smooth riding, long wheelbase, pleasing to drive saloon, despite the fact crossovers aren't any larger inside.
Question please do you get the deposit back?
humadoon18/04/2020 14:04

No, it's not really a deposit in the traditional sense, it's the initial rental payment.

Do you realise how many key workers there are working for the Utility Companies, working in Maritime, working in Aviation, Buses, Trains, Transport in general , working In Shops, Working in haulage, in the Armed Forces, working as First response let alone working in health areas. Apologies to those i missed !
I would imagine that accounts for quite a few million still working day by day and I'm sure quite a few of them who buy/lease cars would appreciate this good deal

I don't disagree that this may attract key workers and there may be a possibility to have a new car delivered to these people because what they do is essential

What I do query though is whether the same sort of exception can be made for everyone else ... It just strikes me as a grey area in terms of the Coronavirus regulations is all I'm saying.

As for the deal, I'm sure all those who have said it's a good deal are right. I personally don't need to lease a car but I recognise that many do for the reasons outlined here.
