Thanks for your post I've added a price and a retailer name to your title and an image to your post, we try to include these when posting deals. Thanks

darrn! About 13k out of my price range. So close!

Great deal, heat added.

great deal

Have fun, they're great cars, I have a mk2.

Bare in mind if you plan to hand it back after the 2years and ignore the final payment then this will apply:

6,000 miles per year & 14.9p per mile over this

great fun but dog slow

Yes, but pay the 7.5k and keep the car, sorry I didn't mention the mileage charge.

But I'm not a hairdresser?

Okay for the ladies or any lads called Jamie or Dwain.

That's why I said if you plan on handing it back, rather than the pay the optional final payment.

OP, could you explain to me how I get this for £13,745, my calculations give a higher figure.

The design is very traditional and regarding it's likely ownership by hairdressers it's nothing like seeing a bloke driving one of those Peugeot 207 Coupe's or even an older shape Ka Convertible.

is it limited to 6000 miles a year...hahahahahahaha, thats how theyll get the money back off you

No, you just pay the final value and take the car away...I don't know anyone who ever 'gives the car back at the end of the deal'..then you trade in or sell...it's a good way to buy at a low interest rate.

Would never have one of these again, had one when I was 19.

Dog slow, doors leaked & was uncomfortable to drive. Sold it after a year.

Almost unilaterally declared to be the best sports convertible available?

Rated 'Best Sports Car' in the latest JD Power reliability survey?

5 Star awards on What Car?

Are you sure it was an MX-5 you had???

It seems that it's only available for £13,475 if you buy it on finance and pay £14,416.65 - although that's cheaper than the cash price of £14,995.

right, so you can't actually get one for £13,475 then - hey OP, you've bought one apparently, why didnt you point this out. LOL.

would I be able to part ex my Lada for this

I have a MK1 - the hairdresser jokes are very old, very tired and show a very small mind.

Great cars - consistently the best Sports Car in every review ..... beating the Porsche Boxter and BMW Z4's!! Some feat for under £14,000!!

this is the same as a MGF innit bruv

I wouldn't count it as a sports car personally, but hey, if you cant afford a proper sports car, this one will provide a stepping stone until finances improve.

I had a mk1 back in the day and enjoyed driving it every time I got in. I would say it was a more driveable car in many ways than the boxter I also once owned.

Great deal. Just a shame its an mx-5.

Would prefer a 2nd hand elise for this sort of cash myself

Awesome timing. Just about to have a mid life crisis and i can't afford a porsche. Only drawback is having to drive around in a womans car but i'm sure i won't get laughed at *that* much.

There are some stupid comments on this page.

The reliability is in most cases fantastic, but there will be one-offs.

There are faster cars out there, but the mx-5 has never been about speed. It’s about cornering and it is a true drivers car. I’ve owned a Boxster and whilst it was well built and in engineering terms pretty good, it wasn’t as fun as this.

For hatchback money, this is a bargain. If you don’t need any more seats, and many people don’t, then this is a hell of a lot of car for the money.

too bad... no quidco... !!!:p

Ignore Royals, he is a known troll on here.

I think you want the sport tec with the bilsteins because it sits way too high or can you opt for lowering springs like previous generation?

Seriously consider an s2000 instead.

I think you will find that most Mazda dealers would be able to offer the same deal as this, as Mazda are offering a large discount on a lot of thier MX5 stock at moment. How do I know you may ask?... well its because i work for them!!!
If anyone is interested in one, PM me and Ill work you out a deal !

You dont HAVE to sell it back to the dealer, sell it private or use it for part ex on a new car elsewhere and ignore the mileage!
I do this type of thing all the time and have actually sold the car for more that the final payment in the past!

How do those who were mislead by the original incorrect pricing by OP - who's bought one apparently - now change their vote to cold following the substantial correction in pricing?

Can this model be jailbroken?

Nice car and nice price. I must confess its not how I would choose to spend 15.5k but for a new car which will be reliable, well built, fun and should hold its value better than most its a good deal.

Not gonna vote however due to the very missleading price put up. £13.750 is totally relevant and unobtainable imo.

I loathe MX5s. I can see why they're popular but my god theres one on every drive driven by frumpy women or gays.

Are they not having another facelift soon? Or has it happened already?
