Looks good on paper. Personally I'm holding out for the Android 8 uleFone Power 3 or even the Power Max (13000 mAh) due in January.

It's a great phone, seen it in action. The only downside is that it's a bit heavy but the 6" screen amazing. It's very thin and side bezels are way smaller than on similar phones:

Helio Mediatek P25 CPU in this, not the greatest, but it's a cheap handset

Lokks pretty good to me, especially for less than £160

I bought a leagoo shark (6300 mah) just bought a oukitel k10000pro 10000mah)
Now I'm going to be waiting for the ulephone power max.

looks good but mixed views on XDA

Apparently Netflix, BBC iPlayer and some other apps won't work on this phone. Seems a bit strange, but it would put me off buying one.

Where did you read that, if you don't mind me asking?

Also do you know why those apps don't work?

I've been keeping my eye on this phone for awhile

It's buried in this review: trustedreviews.com/rev…pha

Also, this is yet another Chinese phone with a pretty under performing camera, avoiding to another review here: techadvisor.co.uk/rev…64/

I'm getting sick of seeing great specifications in these lesser known Chinese phones, when in day to day use they are often pants.

Well. BBC iPlayer works on mine.

Also the battery lasts two days and I get up to 140Mb/s on the local EE network

What is better, this or the Redmi Note 4 (uk 4g version).

Redmi Note 4 has smaller screen and is not borderless, though it comes from a better known company. Just get both and sell on the one you like less...

The great thing about china phones is that one can have the latest handset/ os version every 4-6 months without having to be precious/ freaked out about losing/ breaking the device, since they cost between five to ten times less than premium brands.

Half tempted! The Maze Alpha is a cracking phone!

Still happy with mine I've had a few months, very snappy compared to my Nexus 7 2013 (but I like the latter's larger screen for browsing, when I'm somewhere with wi-fi connection).

Battery typically needs re-charging every 2-3 days, depending upon how much GPS tracking app time I've used.

The GPS accuracy is OK, not as good as my Nexus, but the Nexus' GPS was raved about.

I treat mine as an Android app tablet that can make and receive a few calls/texts. In that respect, the ~225g weight doesn't bother me, because it's ~50% of the weight of the Nexus.
