no need to pay for any of this, plenty of free excellent quality products that are free
The free stuff has been good enough for me for many years. Money saved!
Stay off bad sites, only download off trusted sites, malwarebytes and windows own defender.
Ccleaner every month or so and my PC has been in tip top condition for nearly 7 years obviously been upgraded over time.
Thank you for the comments. I'm not v pc savvy so prefer to pay for a well known and trusted system (which McAfee is judging by a number of independent reviews i've read) than introduce something to my computer which may not be as safe. I'm not saying it is better than the free alternatives out there but just that this deal is a good one for those of us who choose to go down this route.
first thing i do when i get a new PC or restore one is the delete McAfee - even when its free. This anti-virus program is such a resource hog, as soon as its deleted the system is much quicker. I normally just use windows defender now.
This software is absolutely useless. Used it in tech support for 6 years and it couldn't catch anything and even when it did it couldn't remove it. Nothing more than a resource hog.

The only way to test Anti this and that... is really working.. is for it to be exposed to dodgy bad asss sites and it's free gifts....more so...the dodgier bad asss the better....... you'll either come out with PC clean or Cleaned out
Risky....
Good advice for many antivirus products - renewing often does not do you any favours on price compared to rebuying which often works out cheaper.

Good price if you want McCrappy

You don't have to be very savvy you just have to read in the right places, mac fee also gets bad reviews.

Have a look here, it has all you need to know and it won't cost you a penny, the protection offered is better than what you have.
