Good find! My Norton anti virus has just expired, would it be complicated putting this one on computer or would it just delete Norton?

Should be a simple case of just installing over the old AntiVirus as it asks to overwrite in the installation process.
However, Norton can be a nightmare to completely remove of the PC.

wouldnt use it even if it was free

get comodo free firewall

get avast free antivirus

sorted

Great price for 3 PCs - If you want to replace Norton, uninstall it first using 'norton removal tool' (google it).

Ignore 'skykid3', he don't know what he's talking about. This is a 'deals' site, not a comparison site and we're not comparing with free stuff, but if you do decide to go the 'free' way, install 'superantispyware' or similar too.

I wouldn't buy this. If you're not that clued up with all this stuff, buy a complete package like 'norton internet security' or 'avast internet security' or 'AVG internet security' (something that blocks a bit of everything)

g8ryj> What is the situation with Norton s/w? I used to be a massive fan in the 90s then stopped using it as most did because it got too system heavy.

Should you decide to buy this McAfee, do not install the McAfee until you have uninstalled your Norton. Personally I suggest that because this McAfee is only antivirus and not the full suite (its without the firewall etc) I wouldn't buy it; instead I would go with Microsoft Essentials which is a free antivirus and which I have found very good.

Never paid for any antivirus or firewall

Have always avoided nortons & macfee, however seems nortons have greatly improved their security pack recently

If you 'must buy' go for bit defender/kaspersky, but of course they probably cost more to buy,I havent checked prices
